I received a call from this numeber #12 345 6789.
They said that they belong to Windows software support, they said that my computer has lots of corrupted files (,pnf) after runining inf on the RUN window, so they wanted to access my computer afterwards. I said no no no, bye.

Just received a call from this number.  Asked about "Windows" version 7 and if I was having any problems.  Wanted to know if I was the main user of the program.  Seemed to be whispering to someone in background.  Gave no identification or reason for her call.  Very strange.

have received 4 calls- no message left

Just got a call from 112-345-6789 here in Victoria, BC. Sounded like oriental voice.
Asked if I had a computer, so I played along and said yes. He then said there are a lot of viruses around
and asked if I was near my computer. Since a friend had the same call, I knew they wanted me to let them on to my computer, so I told them there was no way I was gonna give them access to my computer and that they were a bunch of $%# holes and then hung up.
DO NOT LET ANYONE HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER!

Just received a call from this number (112-345-6789), but when I picked it up it clicked and started ringing, as if I had dialed out. Given what others here have said, it's likely related to other calls from Unknown Caller/Unknown Number and 510-943-3040. These have all been from people with asian accents who either claim to be from Microsoft and insist my computer has a virus, or who otherwise want to talk to me about virus protection for my computer. They do not give other information, and do not want to take no for an answer.

This is a scam. The phone number which appears is not genuine (big surprise) - it is a spoofed number which will not trace back to them. Do not give them any information, do not allow them access to your computer, and do not download anything they recommend.

got a call from this same guy, said his name was Gary Struss from Microsoft. wanting to access our computer. My husband said hes not falling for it, and hung up on him. BOGUS... do not give this guy ANY information please!!!

I recieved 2 calls from 112-345-6789 within an hour of each other. The first time when I said hello hello there was not sanswer then they cam on with what sounded like a recording of my voice saying hello. then they hung up.

just received a call from this very strange number. i did not pick it up. i see from the first posting with regards to this number when researched the info found was it was a resort in collingwood, ontario. i received a call about a month back from the same type of number and when i researched it was also was registered as being from the muskoka/cottage country region of ontario.

p.s. - forgot to mention the number was the same as these reports 112-345-6789

I received a call from this number also the were insisting they  were windows server support and wanted me to go to my computer so they could fix the virus that had infected my computer, they hung up when i started asking questions

I'm in Calgary as well and I just got a call from this number, 1123456789, 5 minutes ago. Why are the authorities not doing anything about this? I'm tempted to contact Global News about this. Also receiving calls from 000-000-0000.

Both my parents and myself were called from this obviously spoofed number: (112) 345-6789  

What is strange is that we were called within 1 second of each other. Since my parents spoke to the `woman with accent` for a moment, I did not get anyone on the phone.

We are both with Primus TalkBroadband and suspect their servers may have been compromised, or the scammers lists are by area/service provider.

They were beginning their `Problem with your computer` BS with my parents.

Same call centre in India....some guy asking about my computer/Windows...hard to make out exactly..
I just said no thanks and hung up.

I hate that you pick up and it calls them.

This number just called; went strait to answering machine after 3 rings, is usually 5. No messag was left. Call display showed up as v08300104100024.

Received two of these calls today.... no one on the other end of the line.

I got the same thing but there has been no one home to answer it,I cant wait to get the call im gonna play with this guy for an hour

I have 2 separate phone lines and these people just called both at the same time. I didn't bother to pick up and when I tried to block their number, surprise...  the number is not recognized to be blocked.

I answered the phone call, as this number has called a few times this week.

The phone display was: 112-345-6789

Where the name would be was this number: VO9010122390025

So I answered, the phone began to ring, a man with a heavy accent  said hello, I said hello. He asked for me by my last name. There was a lot of feed back on the phone. He said he was calling about a computer upgrade and he asked if I was the sole user of my computer. I said since I did not initiate the call that I was not going to answer his questions. He said OK bye and hung up.

this person or company keeps calloing and leaving messages. When u check ur voice mail, it automatically calls that number. It is becoming really anoying.
