Man with a heavy accent called and said he received a message from my Windows that there was an error and would I give him access to my pc.  I told him I don't own a pc and he didn't believe me, asked me about 5 times if I was sure there was no pc in my house.  I told him he was a scammer and hung up.  I then called the number back and after it rang about 10 times someone answered with "hello"... SCAM!

Number called from was:  646-546-5693 which is in Manhattan NY and I live in Ontario Canada!

This # continues to call our # , sometimes even late at night. How do we stop this call???

They keep calling saying they work for microsoft

Got a call form this number all day long until 9:30 pm at night.  Answered it finally just as a recording said "Good bye".  Hopefully we will not get calls again from this number especially this late at night.

I have received 3 or 4 calls from this numer. I had never answered until today. I yelled "what do you mean calling me! There IS no area code 123!" A guy with an accent said, "How did you know?" I yelled back, " Because it's on my screen!" I have a serious hearing loss, so I have a captioned telephone and caller ID. Then the guy said, "Just wait, someone else will come on". I hung up. Hope it wasn't my daughter calling...lol!

They are calling to tell you your computer is infected; offshore pretending to be Indians working in USA, Big scam, play with them, they can't tell when you are gaming them and prepare to use 4 letter words at the end. They may be coming from Africa and don't like being dumb tech monkees. (That term is reservedffor them - not anyone else, my apology if offends).  They called me today 1 hr. apart - DTM wasn't too bright.  When they call a second best to change your voice, and they may call back again, depending how mad they got. Their English is limited so one's command of obscene is better than theirs.

I received a call for 123457890. the called had an accent. The person said that error messages were being received from my computer and asked if my computer was on.  I told the person to keep talking, but the person kept asking the same question.  I laughed and told the person that I had recently attended a workshop on frauds and I knew that this was a scam.  Then I hung up.

well, they must have moved on from canada.  a man with a very thick accent asked how i was.  i told him dead.  he then said he was from microsoft and wanted to ask questions about my computer.  thanks but no thanks, i hung  up.  ive had these calls before, but this was the first time they talked (not in a language i could understand)

I have been getting a call from 1234567890 every morning the last three days. I just pick it up and put it back in the receiver immediately so it will stop ringing.

[***] keep calling, 11:05am, 1:09pm, 3:20pm, 8:44pm.  I just pick up & wait...a recorded voice just says "goodbye"
Read on the internet the people calling are SCAMMERS of all kinds!
FILE as many complaints as possible on the Do No Call site & also the FCC. Maybe they'll do something about it.  Also use your # key several times or a whistle in their ear or say "YOU ARE BEING TRACED by the Police" or something like that. [***]!

Calls I'm getting are telling me they are from microsoft and want me to go to  a site they are going to give me??  Yeah, you betcha buckwheat..  Heavy Indian accent and can barely understand.. At least once a day

i got a text this morning. i reported the content that was in it. i was told that this is random and that the people that are doing this are putting in random numbers until someone responds or answers and then will call or text until the person has to change there number. unfortunately the best that can be done is to report it so that they can try to track it

Live in Ca get multiple calls from this number a day, I don't answer.

I have been receiving calls from this number for about 2 weeks.  Usually I just end the call by pressing the off button on my cell phone but I answered today.  An Indian man answered and I said I know this is a scam call and repeated several times to stop calling my phone number.  He said he will now call every hour of every day...fabulous!  Not sure how to block it but don't answer...

Got a call from 123-456-7890 @ home.  Who is this?

I got a call earlier from area code 123 from "Happy Software"  in Brooklyn NY.  A male with an Indian accent asked me to turn on my computer and follow some "simple instructions" to identify the viruses infecting my computer, after which he would connect me with a certified tech from microsoft!! He insisted he was calling from "Brooklyn NY" but could not tell me what time it was in Brooklyn.  I assume the call from 123 456 7890 was from the same outfit.  Just what kind of scam is this?

Got several calls today from 1234567890 and I know there is no area code 123..The lady with the heavy accent  knew my last name and what state i was in, was claiming to be from Microsoft and saying my pc was infected and was wanting to to hit all these keys..I ask for her name and Microsoft phone number  and she said she wasn't allow to give out that info. so i told her i wasn't going to give any info. and the i hung up....It's nothing but a scam......

We got 3 annoying calls from this same number. They kept insisting they were calling from Microsoft Windows. Of course we knew Microsoft would not be calling us, but the person was very rude and pushy.
I wish there were some way to report this

I have had a number of calls from this number.   you  answer and they hang up.

123-456-7890 This is a scam, Report it to the U.S. Feds. Don't answer or tell them anything. I tried calling back the number and it was always busy. The other number 1877-232-9911 is a collection agency they are NO help..
