123-456-7890

I have been receiving calls from this # everyday for the past couple of weeks. I have never been home to answer it and I am just wondering how to make it stop?? I hate seeing #'s show up on my caller id like this one. They are really disturbing. With all the bad things that can happen it is scary to think these people may know where I live. If anyone knows how to get rid of it please let me know!!

C'est la première fois qu'un numéro du genre apparaissait sur mon afficheur.
C'était tellement étrange! Le pire, c'est qu'une dame, à la banque, m'avait justement dit en matinée qu'elle recevait ce genre d'appels et qu'il ne fallait pas y répondre, parce qu'il pouvait s'agir de fraude! J'ai trouvé que c'était tout une drôle coïncidence...

Je viens tout juste de recevoir cet appel.  Il s'agissait d'un message enregistré au sujet d'une carte de crédit impayée... on disait d'appuyer sur 1 pour parler à un commis. Curieuse, j'ai appuyé, la ligne s'est coupée!  Je n'ai donc parlé à personne.  

Peut-on frauder sans avoir parlé à personne?  Le seul fait d'appuyer sur le 1 peut-il leur servir à quelque chose?

Je suis un peu inquiète!

J'ai appelé Bell, ils ont recu maintes plaintes. Mais ils ne m'ont pas offert d'aide quelconque.

Que faire?  Dois-je m'inquiéter outre mesure?

LOL I tried the pressing the pound but I pressed the star by mistake but kept on pressing it. Hopefully it will annoy them anyway.

I have been getting this calls from an unknown number 123 456 7890. I just noticed that i get a call from this number everyday now, unfortunately i see it on my phone display all the time.

I leave in Canada in Quebec City which is a French speaking province. I also received the 123-456-6780 call yesterday but I did not answer it. I never answer calls from unknown number or unknown called ID, but I was surprised of the erea code of 123. Where is it? How can you get this erea code if it does not exist?

I'm from Quebec city also...  they just phone me,  this was about some credit cards, to lower the rate or something like this, quite vague ..  I've asked him which credit card, he answer ; Visa and Mastercard....
then I thought that was quite strange  since NEVER would Visa and MasterCard be together in a marketing scheme .  When you ear Visa and MasterCard in the same sentence, it's better to end the conversation. My bet is that this is an attempt at fraud,  to get your name and credit card number.

Received a call from this number today in Montreal, Quebec.  A man with an Indian accent told me since I paid my credit card on time every month, I was eligible for a lower interest rate.  He then asked me if my credit card was Mastercard or Visa.  Right away I was suspicious because if he knew that I paid my credit card on time every month how come he didn't know which one it was.  I said I guess you need my credit card company and number in order to give me a lower rate and he said yes madame and that's when I told him in no uncertain terms to take a hike.  I wonder how many people get taken in by calls like this and if this is a internet number, I guess there is no way of catching them.

this number calls me multiple times everyday!!! i answered once, thinking it was my dad using a calling card, and the gentleman on the other end had a thick accent and was asking about my long distance. i told him no thank you, and that i was very pleased with my current long distance plan and was not interested. he  then got kind of angry, telling me i wasnt understanding! i got mad and told him i understood perfectly fine and was not interested and to stop calling. and yet, still, calls everyday! URG!

Just got a call from this number. I didn't pick up, but they left an automated message claiming to be calling from my credit card company and that this was my last chance to get a lower interest rate.( No credit card company name was give. Strange,huh?)

was on pc wen phone rang wen i got to it they hung up the number was 123-456-7890 - no 1 before the {123} dont get it looked it up got this site please help can i screw with there mind for a bit it is fun?

Paraphrasing:

"If you have a credit card and would like to lower your interest rates, press 1 now.  To discontinue further calls, please press 3."

Yeah, Anonymous Caller doesn't scream "scam".

I answered figuring it was a telemarkter.  there was a recorded message from "my credit card company" and then it went on about an offer which was expiring.  I hit 1 to talk to someone (to be taken off their list), after about 7 minutes I got through to someone that answered "MTS", when i asked to be taken off the list they hung up

encore moi,me again.j'ai parlé a bell canada et ils m'ont dit qu'a la fin aout ,début septembre,les recherches vont commencer pour trouver d'ou part ce numero.si il faut,la grc va se mettre dans les recherches aussi.si vous leur parlez aux gens sur cette ligne,ne leur donnez surtout pas vos numéros de carte de crédit,on va en avoir le coeur net bientot.en 2008 j'espere

les appels peuvent venir de n'importe ou. http://www.officialspoofcard.com       ceci est un site ou on peut montrer n'importe quel numero de telephone au caller id.donc c'a peut etre un voisin qui vous joue un mauvais tour ou une personne qui a de mauvaises intentions envers vous mais qui ne vous connais pas necessairement.c'est ce genre de site qui devrait etre illegal,comme c'a,on ne pourrait plus en faire,allez voir ce site pour voir,vous verrez que monsieur madame tout le monde peut le faire facilement,c'est gratuit en plus

Just got a phone call from this number and nobody said anything when I answered... I just hung up...

I thought it was odd and then I googled it and found this site... very odd...

I get these calls several times a week and I ne4ver answer. There is always a voice message left that is a recording babbling on about lowering my interest rates. I'm in Manitoba, by the way.

I get these calls too,  One time it was for long distance and once for a credit card. Both times the people were rude and did not listen to me when I told them NO!  Then once it was a pre recorded message yelling at me to push a number to talk to a agent or to stop getting more calls.
