I have called better business bureau and thanks greg for your info i will be calling them back and giving the information. this is not fair to hard working people just trying to make a living and everyone should report them before they take avantage of someone grandparents!!!!

Missed the call on my cell, tried to call back and it was busy!  Nice to get on here to find out that it's yet ANOTHER scammer *rolling my eyes*

I received a call at my work phone...  Fortunately, caller id shows the number and since I didn't recognize it, I didn't answer it.  I figured if it was somebody I knew that was really trying to reach me, they could leave a voicemail.

I got a call but didnt pick up from the same number stating that I "may be eligible for a lower interest rate upto 6.99%".

They didnt leave the credit card company they were calling from, nor a number to call back and the Automated message was at sound speed as if she had to catch her train.

Does anyone know the company name, address or business phone number?
I would like to write some letters.

Jacka$$es call a doctor's emergency number.  Wish I could sue them for failure to observe DNC list....

They called me at 7:40 in the am!! Very annoying and bothersome.

I've gotten 2 calls, 2 days in a row on my cell phone..I work 3rd shift and they are waking me up daily..I didn't press '1' because I've heard somewhere that if you press any #'s on automated calls that it could be giving them access to use your phone for long distance overseas calls and people have gotten outragious phone bills because of it and it's a pain to get it fixed..I usually don't answer #'s not on my list, but I recently had an accident and I am awaiting important calls from insurance and repair shops, etc..This should be illegal!..If anyone starts a class action suit against them, I would like to be included!

About the only hope is to engage an attorney.  We have been successful here in Michigan pursuing claims for statutory damages.  We think we are making a dent, but if nothing else our clients are getting some satisfaction from having these predators pay.  Problem is finding an attorney that understands the TCPA and related state laws.

I no longer answer calls from numbers that I don't already have saved. If it's important, they will leave a voicemail.

It's good to know I can search the phone number afterwards and find others who have had similar issues, and that I'm not going crazy :)

They are actually.."Applied Bank"...

R'cd cell phone call, nice lady identified the company as "Cardholder Services" and we went back and forth on the name of the company before I understood it was not only the kind of company but also the name.  They will lower my credit card interest rate to 6.78% if (a) currently above 10% and (b) have valid debt over $4000 and (c) have active credit balance.  We spent time discussing my meeting the qualifications.  Then she wanted my credit card account number.  I said I'll be glad to call them back or sign on the web, but to me they are just a phone call and I don't know who they are.  She apologized and understood and asked if I'd like to speak to a manager.  I did. After a bit Brian came on line and I asked for their phone or web, for security.  He asked wouldn't I want to lower my interest rate today? I said yes but they were just a phone call and I wanted to call them back as I didn't know who they were. He paused, turned away from the phone, said something I didn't understand, I said "what?", he made the noise again off-phone, I said "hello?" and he hung up.

This number rang my office number today.  Although I don't work with the general public, I have to answer the phone.  I started pressing buttons but didn't get anywhere.  When I heard a ring I just hung up.

Called by these fools. Called them back and got put on there do not call list. Hope it works,what ever happen to all thought laws they passed.

Keep getting this call on my work phone.  They immediately hang up when asked to be put on their DNC list, or worse, harrass you.  I've learned that calling the number back will give you an option to remove you from the list.  Dont know if that worked or not.  I did try calling back the number to see if could actually speak to someone, but the options menu is blank and it disconnects.
