I have a new phone and number for just a few weeks....they must be good at getting details or are some folk at reputable orgs selling customer data ??Who knows but I wonder if I add them to a reject list on my cell phone will that stop the call actually costing me money ? what a bunch eh ??

Number called me on my cell phone, immediately hung up when i asnswered.  i tried to call back but got a busy signal.

I just received the call on my cell phone, I didnt answer, and they didnt leave a number.  I know MANY people on here are referring to the Do Not Call list, and that would be great if this company were actually using a list, but chances are they have a predictive dialer that just randomly dials any combination of #'s and that is how they are obtaining phone #'s that have been recently issued, or pre-paid cell phones, etc.  With most telemarketers or spammers, if the company does not get a "hit" that the email/phone # is active, they will eventually stop.  Hope this helps.

I am getting these calls with increasing regualrity ... several times a day ..... so I saved the number to the name "junk" and set the ring to "no tone" ... this has worked with other #'s ...... they still call, but I never really know unless I review my "missed calls"

I pressed one, got my live operator, who said "Thank you for calling...did you press 1 to lower your rate?"
I said, "No, I pressed 1 to tell you '[***] you' for calling my cell phone number.
He said, "[***] you, [***]."
I said, "[***] you, [***]."
He hung up.

This is rediculous.  Does anyone have a number to call them back at.  I pressed 1 and asked them politely to remove me and they just hung up on me.

They called me too... you can register a complaint at donotcall.gov if your phone number is registered (mine is and I did).  They won't pursue individual cases, but with seven pages of people complaining it would help them build a criminal case.

If you're REALLY dedicated to making their lives miserable, you can file a civil suit against them.  There are several laws with about a $500 penalty for each that telemarketers frequently violate (including the obvious unsolicited calls to a registered number).  More trouble than I feel like going to, but worth a look if you have a lot of time on your hands.

Called me at home. I did press 1, but no one came on and after many seconds, it hung up. Tried calling back, and got only a busy circuit signal. After putting the phone number from the caller ID into Google, this page came up near the top.

Really glad this site and others are tracking scammers... so who/what law enforcement agencies deal with this kind of thing? FBI maybe?

I pressed 1 and the guy that came on asked if I was $4000 or more in debt.  I asked whether this was a sales call.  He then proceeded to berate me and use vulgarity.  Nice.

This company is just a scam, when they called and said they could lower my rate to 6%, I said which card?  They said we deal with all major credit cards, so I said, you can only lower my major credit cards, she said no they can lower them all.  I asked how, asked for the phone# on the back of my card then for my cc# to verify it was me.  I told her I m not giving you cc#, well in order to put you thru to the customer service dept. I need your cc#.  Again I said I am not givin you my cc#, I want your phone# and the name of your company so I can go online and look you up, or go to the BBB to see about you, they hung up on me.

You could save the number and then save the ring as nothing and it won't even make your phone ring to bother you.

My story is similar to others here.  I pressed "1" so I could ask a few questions (and mention the cell phone / DNC list violation).  They definitely don't like people to ask who they are or how they got your number, the call was suddenly cut off after I asked too many questions...

I pushed them to tell me how much it all cost and they kept telling me no out of pocket costs. When I pushed them further to tell me how much, they hung up on me...Nice way to do business, kind of reminds me of some of the extended car warrantee companies...
