I get several calls every week from someone that usually has a foreign accent.  I usually have lots of fun with them to waste their time.  I keep repeating their questions; keep asking them if they actually work for the US Government and where they work.  Ask them for their work address and they will only reply "Washington DC, United States of America".  When they hit me with the $7000 grant I just tell them I accept the money, mail it to me.  Of course they say they are not allowed to send money through the mail.  They ask for my bank account information, my reply is just put it in my account, if you’re the US Government you already have the information because the IRS just put money in my account last week.  I keep at it until they finally start cursing and hang up.  I actually had one person tell me today that they were going to send the FBI over to my house but I could pay the fine over the phone if I give them a credit card number.  I told them that I will be home around dinner time so send them over then....

I get calls from this # all the time. I answered only once & a female tld me that she was calling from Windows & needed me to log on so she cld fix the problem. I told her NO, she wld hav to call bk after 4 to spl w/my husband. She didn't call bk after 4 & continues to call me b4 4pm all the time!

I received a call from this phone number and it was blocked immediately following the call. I've got a fraud watch on my social security number as there has been a massive fraud case in the Pacific Northwest. This number needs to be reported the FBI and the individual needs to be apprehended.

Getting calls for months now. Sometimes from a man. Last call this morning was a woman. I took control and asked how did she get my number. She tried to talk. I asked again how she got my number. Said she had my info that she was calling from Washington and I had won.... I cut her off and asked again how she got my number that I am on the no call registry. She hung up on me.

Hello everyone,  I just received a call from this number and did not trust it , so I googled the number and found all of these complaints.  I knew it had to be a scam.  I am glad I checked it out.  My thoughts are how did he know my information.  I am not comfortable with that.

Is there a way to STOP IT

I have no idea how to stop these phone calls from coming in. They are constant even thought I'm on the "Do Not Call" list.
I tried to call it back and it states "it's temporarily unavailable." I know it's a scam but we need this to STOP!!!!! These are SICK people out there.

I got a call from 202-621-5429 stating that I had won a $7000 grant as a result of me paying my taxes and bills on time. They started asking me to confirm my name, zip code, and I told them that there was no way it was legit and they hung up.

202-621-5429 has been calling me for the last two-three months telling me the same story that i am eligible for a grant of $8k or more....how can i make these calls stop..i tried blocking from my iphone but they call from similar numbers...

Do not return or answer this call.  It is spam and could hurt your phone.

Is there a number you can call to report them? Because they just called me as well and told me that I needed to get a green dot card and deposit money so they can send me the 7K dollars at any Wal-Mart or Walgreens

I just received a call from this number the man with very broken English asked if I was interested in a grant and I said no. He asked why and I said I don't need a grant right now. He then wanted to know how much money I have. I told him that was nobody's business but my own. I argued with him for a while and finally told him he was harassing me and I was going to report him to the authorities. That didn't seem to phase him and he threatened to keep calling.  So fed up.

Just received the same call, and mine was directed to some random guys cell phone. They wanted my credit card number a total scam.

I have filled out a lot of job applications from various employment websites. Some of them have an option to talk to an education consultant. These are the only sites to which I have ever given personal information. Wish I could get a hold of some these scammers and slap 'em around a bit.

I get calls from this a number like this at least every other day. Some stating they are with the government and need my bank account info or a card number so they can send me a grant. Other calls say I had a transplant surgery and am entitled to money from a lawsuit. The funny thing is I have never had a transplant surgery. The scary thing is that my number they are calling isn't even 6 months old and I haven't given it to anyone besides my employer family a couple close friends and my college. Every caller is a man with a heavy accent and can be barely understood. Once they ask for bank account information and card numbers I immoderately hang up. Just want these calls to stop already.

good for you, cause I got the same call, first of all I never requested the grant, secondly, the indian dialect is a instant giveaway it's not a US Government call.  I swear I am going to get me a blow horn and the next time I get one I will blow their ears off.

I've gotten calls from this number a few times.  I answered today and a man who told me I won a grant from the government for $7000 that I could use in any way I wanted. He told me to call Carol at (202)738-4217 to claim my money.

I keep getting calls from this number daily. I answer and they hang up.

Once I actually talked to a person who barely spoke english and they said something about school grants. When I told them I am on the do not call list, he said I'm not on THEIR do not call list. I told them to stop calling and hung up.

God!!! is there anyway I can stop these people from calling me every day!!! It's so anoying!! They use different names, but they always say they're from the US goverment Grant Departments, I can't take it anymore, they call every single day! How can I block these calls?
