    t-mobile
I found this number as a text on my husbands phone too, but there was no record of it on his phone, but it was on the t-mobile bill, we have unlimited texting.  We both called the number because he didn't know who it was, and I was accusing him of lying.  The message stated that the phone was not in service, and there was never a response to any messages sent trying to find out who this number belonged too.  This is wrong of t-mobile to do this.

My 71 yr old mother has had t-mobile for about 5 months and has had the same 5 text messages on her phone bill every month. I called and complained and told them that my mother does not even know how to text, but they said she texted them. She does not even know how to check her voice mail and I know she is not texting. This is riduculous. She is just going to find a different service when this contract is up.

First of all, we HATE T-mobile cell service!

This same incident with the 206 number occurred to us.  We don't have unlimited text, but seldom use the text feature, so we didn't go over.  Customer service for T-mobile is top-notch at being extremely polite but as useful at tits on a boar hog.  We got no where.  The rep said he wanted to keep a smile on our faces and we told him that our smile was getting bigger and bigger as July 12 neared--the last day of our lousy T-mobile contract.  He offered us extra minutes, which we do not need and then even offered us additional text messages, which we do not need. He could offer no explanation, which surprised neither of us, as T-mobile's standard response is that "the customer" did it, or the device had a glitch.  T-mobile never has a problem, but they also didn't learn that the customer is always right.  As of July 12 we are SOOOOOO gone!  We are telling everyone about the problems with T-Mobile and are hoping that they will do enough damage to put themselves out of business.

Well looks like I am in the same boat. My boyfriend is out of state working on forest fires. While checking our text usage I ran across PAGES of this number who he had sent out a text to. All I can say is that I too am thankful that I am not the only one with this problem!

My boyfriend is the victim of these same stupid text messages. He receive 2 text messages today:
    1st text-
maya111/Hey, I got your number from a friend of mine, but I bet you can't guess who I am!  My username's maya111, if you
    2nd text-
maya111/wanna come see if you recognize me online, at maya111.date-pod.com.  Well, hope to see you soon!

I checked to see where the messages came from and all I saw was "5000" as the title and the phone number didn't show up (which is odd cause it usually does)

SO...right now I hate T-Mobile and the service they provide, because I think they are running a stupid scam that is why they aren't doing anything about it. These stupid game/scam can ruin relationships and the T-mobile doesn't give a [***] cause they want easy pocket cash. [***].

I went crazy for 2 days trying to find out who my 15 yr old daughter was texting 9 pages worth of phone bill with this 1 phone number in 2 days! I called T mobile and they played dumb and said they couldn't help me find out who it was. Then I read on several web sights that this one number belongs to T-mobile and it appears on the bill of several customers that also had NEVER had anything to do withtexting this number! IMAGINE BEING A MOTHER IN THIS DAY & AGE TRYING TO PROTECT YOUR 15 YR OLD DAUGHTER & THIS PHONE NUMBER POPS UP ON 9 PAGES IN 1-2 DAYS!!!

    Freaking pissed
well, i just discovered that i went over my text messages.i have tmobile also and just went online to see that most of the messages went to that 206 number, and all of them outgoing.i only have 400 messages a month and had to upgrade to avoid charges for overage, needless to say none of the reps had any idea about it and couldnt help with anything. until i found this website and called them again to get the service message center number, just to hear the rep give me the 206 number which was in my phone in that option. so i asked him how can messages go to that number and i can get charged for it. his explanation was, that they bounce off of it and go to their destination, but sometimes when it doesnt show the final destination it will show this number on the bill. all sounds quite a bit shady to me. i have had tmobile for quite some time and i think i will be changing soon as soon the contarct expires. it all seem BS at the end. glad i found this so i can research it more.

    Emma the T-Mobile Girl!
I agree with "Hello people duh" up there, that's exactly what it is.  It's a T-Mobile SMS number.  It's the number all of your texts go out on.
So, if you have made text messages, and you have the number of the person, but it comes up as the number complained about here, it's the sms center number.

I believe a lawsuit is in order.  I don't know a person alive who can text every minute or two for 10 straight hours.  They are all this mysterious server number in Seattle.  I refuse to pay them for something I am certain is their error.  Anyone have a lawsuit going now or anyone interested in starting one.

I got my bill today and was surprised to see they were charging me $5 extra.  I checked and had mssgs from the 206 number, the problem is that they are charging me for mssgs I didn't send... even when I have the plan for unlimited mssgs!!!!

The messages were "sent" on a day I was out of the country and I never used my phone when I leave the states.

We live in Kansas City Missouri and went about 4 hours south to Steelville (still in Missouri) to camp and canoe.  My phone/handset itself shows exactly who I texted- with the correct number I texted to (if anyone cared to look).  However, if you login to the tmobile account online, for a day and a half most of the texts showed up to and from 1-206-313-0004 on my tmobile account online.  WHY?  Well brainiacs, it is the number of an SMS server and the messages "bounce off" or "relay" from there to your intended destination.  The mother trying to protect her child I do feel for.  My .02?  ... the bottom line is, it is only if you are being a suspicious jerk in the first place you will ever have a problem in a relationship because of this.  Why be in such a hurry to jump to the worst possible conclusion?

There were dozens of these these text messages on my husbands bills over several months. There might have been more on bills I didn't see. The charge on our bill was .15 each. This can not only accrue false charges, but cause other problems as well.

    trying to help
I am trying to help you understand where these charges come from. These texts are being sent when we are in an area that doesnt have tmobile service. Because tmobile offers nationwide plans we are not roaming, but we are on someone else's towers. when we try to send a text on these other towers, it first has to go to tmobile service center and thats where you see the 2063130004 which is tmobile's service center number and the service center routes the call to it's destination.  These texts that are going out from your phone is actual sent texts
