two of my phones (both are over seas in Argentina and turned off) sent many texts to this number that is disconnected.  the phones are turned off.  I will be calling T-Mobile today.  those were the only calls/texts made by the phones.

THIS NUMBER SHOWED UP ON MY HUSBANDS BILL TOO I THOUGHT HE WAS CHEATING ON ME IT CAUSED A BIG BIG FIGHT UNTILL I DONE MORE RESEARCH ON THIS NUMBER AND FOUND OTHER PEPOLE LIKE US WAS HAVING THIS NUMBER ON THEIR BILL TOO!!! T-MOBILE BETTER GET THIS FIXED BEFORE THEY BREAK UP A HAPPY HOME!!!!!!!! THIS IS NOT FUNNY ANYMORE!!!!!

Getting TEXT Message , being charged , whoever it is stop this [***] joke

In this day and age T-Mobile claims that they can NOT universally block numbers that are spamming MANY of their customers.  The only option they offer is to block ALL text messages to individual numbers, making it impossible for your family and friends to reach you!  Does anyone know of another service provider who prevents this?  I'd like to switch asap!

dam. I got a txt saying, "Hey I got your number from a friend of mine, but I bet you cant guess who I am! My username is Starburst2165dating-pod.com If you wanna come see if you recognize me online. Well hope to see you soon!" Now seeing as how im single, I was actually preety optimistic, thinking it was an old, grammar school friend turned to full grown hottie! LOL. But then I read all your comments and I know its a scam. [***] t-mobile!

I got a crazy text from 206-313-0004 and it was a long message and it had to come in 2 parts.  I am a t-mobile customer and it sounds to me like it is only us t-mobilers that it is happening to.  Maybe a money making scam on our providers part????? hmmmmmmmmm

I just got my bill with $140 extra of messaging fees!!! I was blown away! I called Tmobile and they said if you are roaming and you text message you get the fee and I was over my text limit. I thought it was interesting though that this happened one bill after I added 400 text messages for $4.99 to my plan. I have been a tmobile customer for almost 5 years now, and have never ever seen this occur on any bills ever!!!  And, I have traveled all around the US and canada while text messaging! Ridiculous! They were able to give me 25% off the messaging charges, which only amounted to almost $40! The guy on the phone said that the only way to tell when you are "roaming" is that the part of your screen that says "tmobile" will change to the name of the company who's area you're roaming in. I don't believe it...

I also got 2 mssgs from this number.  Both are spam from that 'Friend Jungle' company.  

Leah as a 'leader' within T-Mobile you really learn to freaking read better.  Are you not understanding that people are getting charged for texts they did NOT send?  I know all you customer service people just assume the customer is lying but come on.  T-Moblie has a PROBLEM.  Some company is using text mssgs to advertise, they're sending them to T-Mobile customers ONLY.  They are sending them THROUGH the 206 number.  OTHER T-MOBILE CUSTOMERS ARE GETTING CHARGED FOR THESE TEXTS.  

Get your heads out of your butts and do something.

Ugh! I thought I was the only one wow yea I hope I do not get charged for this. It just happened to me today.

This is Twitter.com's SMS number.  (their short code is 40404, but +12063130004 is apparently the "service center" long number address for that short code)

I just got a text from short code 3616 saying that my US Bank account is closed due to suspicious activity...except I don't have a US Bank account.  After calling T-Mobile it seems that this is an *email* scam; each phone with text messaging capability has an email address (phone number@tmomail.net; 1234567890@tmomail.net, for example) and that's why they're being routed through this 206-313-0004 number.  Whoever is sending the spam is just typing in phone numbers and seeming to hit the jackpot.
I was able to block these emails at my My T-Mobile page.  If you haven't set it up yet, do so.  Then under the My Services tab, select "Send a text message."  On that page, on the right side there should be a link saying "Create email filters."  Scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see two options for blocking email to your phone.  The top option will block all email altogether, and the second option will block only those messages sent to (phone number@tmomail.net; 1234567890@tmomail.net for example).  I was told by the customer service person that this would suffice to block these messages.
So it seems email spam has spread to mobile phones...

I don't know how helpful this will be for people who are getting charged for outgoing text messages, but it might be worth a shot.

OMG...I have 32 on a bill from September and some from when I was sure i was sleeping.....v interesting.

I too recieved txt msgs from this number and I was in Mexico, so it showed up at international roaming.  I have yet to call T Mobile, but doubt anything will be settled.  They never seem to be able to help.  I'll report back if there is a positive action taken.

I received 2 TM from this number using the name fallinstar223.
What pisses me is that I have pay as you go, and get charged minutes for these...hope there aren't more.  If there are will hopefully t-mobile will credit me back those minutes

I actually work for a t-mobile call center and have never heard of this particular complaint from anyone... I would like to know what the reps are telling you and I want to be able to research it farther and submit a request to corporate on behalf of all the customers on this website.. It is important to me that all of our customers are satisfied.. I know my co-workers might not feel the same way but I personally know how it feels to be dogged by the cell phone company and I want to make a difference in at least one cellphone company's service....
