Offered to sell me a wireless security system.  I gave them the name of the governor and the address of the capitol building.  Someone is supposed to call back to arrange installation.  So far no call.  I have turned on my fax software to "answer" the phone.

When I get calls from this number or any other number I don't recognize I answer the phone with "U.S. Postal Service, Fraud Division."  They hang up and hopefully dump my phone number.

I have received multiple calls from 206 4960929, each time it says "press 2 to be placed on our do not call list"  I did that repeatedly and today decided to talk to the person.  They are marketing for Home Protection One.  I recommend everyone contact that company to protest. http://www.protection1.com/  their corporate office address is

Remove this number from the do not call list thank you

I have the number of this robo caller for you all  2064960929 everyone should file a complaint at the national do not call registry. Hopefully if the gov gets enough complaints they will investigate this obvious scammer.

I am not the DO NOT CALL registry yet I got a call from these people-recorded-not live-selling home security systems.

I think I'll just go ahead and make an appointment with them and wring some facts out of whoever shows up. The Federal Telecommunications act of 1994 allows one to demand $500.00 from people and companies that ignore Do Not Call registries and requests. If they refuse to pay up, one can sue in small claims court and demand triple damages,. One could make a comfortable living from these morons if they don't obey the law.

I called the number back and there is a message saying to press 1 to not have any more calls from this number... hope it works

The best way to stop these people from calling is to say, "Please take me off your call list and any other corporate associates lists." -That way it takes care of their company and any others who may have your info. :)

automated voice saying i could get a free security system if they place a yard sign in my lawn, press 1 to learn more. so, i press one to waste their time for calling me. finally some lady answers (swear it was the same lady from a few days ago using a different caller id number) and tells me it is a GE security system. GE doesn't sell security system service any more so i know she is lying and i'm on do not call list. so i ask a bunch of questions. after 10 minutes I get out of her that Monitronix is who does the monitoring of the system. Finally I have a name to submit to the do not call complaint. so, I tell her that I hope I've wasted 10 minutes of her time since she ignored the national do not call list laws and she hangs up on me. next time I'm going to let her schedule the appointment with their stupid rep so I can tell him in person that they violated the do not call list and wasted my time so now i'm wasting their time.

They've called me twice in last 11 days. First time was from a different number 631-496-3381.  This time I listened to a recording about the FBI reports and the security system and then went to the live operator.  I knew for the first call they weren't going to leave me along so I thought I'd see if I could find out anything.  

The call was about General Electric Security Systems.  Supposedly, free installation in return for putting out a sign.  Of course, you pay a monthly fee.  Clearly violates DNC law.  I told the live operator I was on the federal and state do not call registries and why did she think her call was exempted from the law.  I was expecting her to say something like "we aren't selling anything just giving away security systems" or something like that.  But, she responded "because the law doesn't do any good" and hung up.  At least  she was honest about that. I filed complaints and listed General Electric Security Services as the caller although I suspect GE contracts this out in order to avoid bad publicity and legalities.  I'm going to try to find some at GE (outside of the security services) and ask them how they feel about disrespecting people's rights and disregarding the law.  They probably wouldn't like a bunch of people stealing their light bulbs.

The latest calls fom this telemarketing group features a change in the caller ID that just simply repeats he phone number as the name. Now they are pushing a home security system... I hung up after a few seconds of listening to the recording...

This is a different # for WINNER. This morning they left a message on my voice mail  to lower my interest. The other # that uses WINNER as an ID is 360-529-6158.

I have got more calls after getting on the dnc list.. What a scam is the dnc list.

Never signed up for DNC list because I new it was a scam from the start.  The first week it began collecting phone numbers of people not wanting telemarketing calls, the head of DMA (Direct Marketing Association), which is responsible for many of these annoying sales calls, paid off government employees to get numbers on the DNC list.  Within two weeks, people on the DNC list were getting harassing telemarketing calls from this dirt bag DMA company.  

Best thing to do is:
1. keep a whistle by your phone
2. answer then nest one of these calls when it comes in
3. talk quietly so the caller has trouble hearing you
4. when you know the caller's ear is firmly against their phone, blow your whistle as loud as possible

We have our phone service and internet thru Comcast.  I don't answer the unknown calls, but I pay attention to see who they might be.  Lately I have noticed, these anonymous hang up calls ring thru to our answering machine, and then immediately thereafter my internet service goes 'local' for awhile (unable to connect).  Any techies out there know if these spammers might be attempting to detect/cross-reference IP addresses with phone numbers?

I am generally a peaceful person, but I am so fed up with these calls that I really wish these telemarketing scammers dead.  Just die already and do the world a favor, would you?  Any violent types out there that can take care of this problem for us? ;-)

I am on the do not call list.  These people keep calling me.  I answer, but there is empty space.  When I called back it would not put me through to anyone and eventually disconnected.

I am on the do not call register and do not take marketing calls.  They bug me!!!

Somebody has to stop all these calls.
