Called at 1 am, repeatedly till I blocked it

Person called identifying themselves as calling on behalf of Amazon. She asked if she was speaking to Deborah I responded that this is she ( not saying yes). She responded that she was calling on behalf of Amazon and then hung up.

Amazon said NOT TO RESPOND TO THAT NUMBER. :

Received a call from 206-922-0880, claims to be from amazon.
I immediately called back the real amazon customer service and amazon rep stated that 206-922-0880 number was not on their records of being an amazon customer service number.

Find out for yourselves, call the real amazon and give them that number that called you and confirm that isn’t from amazon.

Amazon calling at my request.

Too bad no one ever taught you not to lie. No normal person would look up a number knowing who called and why. That either makes you extremely not normal or a liar. Which is it?

The people calling from this number are scammers pretending to be Amazon representatives alerting you to fraudulent attempts to access your Amazon account. They'll give you their so-called full names and so-called employee ID numbers. Don't fall for it. Amazon does not call you unless you ask them to; employees do not give out first AND last names, nor do they provide employee id numbers.

received a call at home about $7000 account … do not owe AMazon

I recieved calls from this number through amazon when I needed assistance in December. The problem is though all of a sudden, this number is calling me at 2:50 every morning twice. I've blocked the number and even contacted amazon. They said that their assistant numbers normally start in 877 and are reporting the number right now.

Got a call on 2/19/2020.@12:38PM ET The truncated message was "  ... at 12:35PM you made a purchase of $866 ; If you have not made this purchase, please press 1.". Since I do not have an Amazon account nor did I order anything from them,  this is a scam.

Received the same msg today. When I called back on cell phone it sent me a text to verify account I did not click. I suspect it to be a scam too.

This usually amazon customer service and shouldn't call you unless you request a phone call

Called at 12:50AM!!!! No one there when I picked up.  I am pissed!
