I called back, more than once, and got a msg saying that the person is unavailable right now, please try your call again.

Got a call from this number today at 10:24am.  Did not recognize it.  Area code 208 is Idaho.  Why am I getting calls on my cell from Idaho.

just got the call, too, in Spanish from 208-991-1196. Not the first time but I should know by now just to answer and click off immediately. Bunch of scammers.  THBBBBBbbbbTtttt!

in less then 9 mins after the previous report (maria) I got a call too! amazing how many calls are generated from this # - mofo's!

Just got a call too, didn't answer, no voicemail either. Time is 4:30pm

Yeah, robo-call in Spanish.  Should be beaten to a pulp.

one more thing, this number dialed me in the 401 area code at around 4pm Eastern time.

is it sequential?  post area codes that they dialed if you could.

THANK GOD my cell plan covers unlimited incoming calls & my cellphone can restrict incoming calls. Go to "menu" - "settings" - "security", and the lock code is most likely the last four digits of your cell phone number. Then choose "call restrictions" - "restrict incoming call", then just type in their number. Whenever this number calls again, your cell phone won't even ring!

BTW, my cellphone is a Nokia, I don't know if this works for others as well.

My wife and I both got calls from this number today on our cell phones. It was a recording in Spanish.

I got a call from this number just now.. it's a recording in spanish that begins with a cash register ringing. Translated, the voice says "The cash register has just opened. You have one one thousand dollars. To recieve your money, press 1"

... weird. I didn't push 1 to see if it'd give me more options but it just hung up.

wow i was just typing in the number to see where the area code was around to see if i could figure out if i knew anyond in that state but apparently more than just a few of you got a call from this number, i could of sworn i was on the "do not call list" good thing i dont answer any number i dont know "especailly" the restricted ones

I won a free trip to Cancun.  They didn't even pronounce it correctly.  All I had to do was press 1.  I did nothing and it hangs up pretty quickly.  I think it may cost them money to call you since they don't leave much time.

does anyone have any idea who the hell is callin. It was in spanish saying i won some money as soon as I heard that I hung up. Its just creepy

I get the same calls. These call cost them almoust nothing but the persons time. If you want nothing and hang up they win. The key is to keep them on the phone as long as possible, then the cost goes up. Every few seconds is another call they could have made. If I have nothing to do I keep them on the phone as long as I can. I agree to everything and get details of everything until it's time to pay. Then I put them on hold to go get the payment. After a few of these unproductive 5-10 minute calls it will either become too unproductive to continue or they will get pissed with the people playing their own game and quit the job. If we all do it they will loose big money.
