Been getting these calls frequently
went on eBay and bought a voice changing phone.
Well today I used it
Had it set on Female when I answered
I must sound like granny
the Indian call just said she was checking and hung up
just waiting for them to call again

A man with an Indian accent called me at work and asked for my husband by first name, and said they had done work on our computer last year. He wanted me to to go on internet to fastsupport.com. I hung up and he called right back. I think they were trying to gain access to my computer. Caller ID said Texas. I could not understand what company he said he was with.  Felt very scammmy.

Just got a call from them, heard my voice and hung up.  They are looking to hear women's voice.  I catch these con artist all the time, because they are really stupid.  A true con artist is smart, these buffoons can't con themselves.  Just trick them up and see how they can answer the questions.  Ask them how the weather is in India, that'll usually throw their game off and they will either hang up or get flustered.  Mess with them, ask them what a computer is.  Be smart, be ahead of them.  Good luck.

I also got this scam and afraid they got me the second time.  They had my full name and told me that they were from Microsoft windows and my computer was alerting them that something was wrong and they needed to fix it. So they got into my computer for about an hour. I feel bad I was so dumb.  Their number on the 2nd call was TX 210-301-0307. Someone else says their company is called Wakanetwork.  I talked to a Mike Miller and then a supervisor Tiftu. I have reported this to FTC, police, Verizon, and unlawful call center plus lifelock.

Received a call from this number at 9:25 am CA time May 9th. Did not answer the call.

Got a call from this number from a man named Mark. Sounded like he was from India. Told me some of my window
program had stopped working. Asked him how he got my number. He said that was a good question an then I could
tell he was reading from a script. He said he knew I was by my computer, and he was going to fix it for free. I asked
him where he was calling from and he said New York, I said that's funny caller id said Texas, he then changed it to
Virginia. Asked for his number because I said the connection was bad and I couldn't hear him very well. Then I
googled he number.....SCAM!!!!

Got a call from this number.  After a lot of background noise, a woman with a pronounced accent said she was "Susan" calling from Microsoft.  As I've gotten this kind of call before, I told her I knew it was a scam and she hung up.  

Got a call from 210-280-8487 with the same story about a virus.  Told them if they wanted me to even believe they were legit to transfer me to an operator in the US (you can do that with all of these calls).  They claimed to be transferring but the background sounds never changed at all.  I hung up.

210-280-8487, male voice, knew my name, spoke gibberish, said thank you and hung up

I received phone calls from Texas 210 280 8487 and 210 301 0307 but from Virginia 703 272 4699, 703272 4700 too and the famous 123-456-7890(Skype) every single day for the last 2 months.The speakers are all Indians from India and it does not matter what I am telling them, they keep calling. One day I asked him: " What do you really want?" The answer was" 10,000 dollars".
I said.. I am opening an investigation, I call FBI. They didn't care, next day they called again.
Maybe we should call the FBI. This is unacceptable situation . It is a network for a big SCAM to hack our computers and of course with that everything else. The most important thing is to find out who sold our phone numbers or what they hack into, to find them.

Called and said they were microsoft os support.    Calling is more frequent even though i've informed them i do do Microsoft or computers.

The FBI is a Federal agency...why would you assume they will work for you?  The sad truth:  THEY WON'T!

Just got a call from this number.  Caller ID showed "TEXAS."  The man on the other line said something about calling from Microsoft and Windows tech support, saying that they're company computer was showing a critical failure and viruses (or something, I don't know the technical jargon he threw at me) on my home computer.  As he was calling, I typed the number into whocalls me and 800notes.  When I realized it was a scam, I hung up.  He immediately called again, and as soon as I answered, I said that I did not believe him and that I would report the number to donotcall.gov.

Third call in a few weeks. He said in a very foreign voice that he can tell that I am having computer trouble and wants to walk me thru fixing it. I tell him every time no thanks not interested and I hang up. Your right he always calls around 3 or 4 in the evening when you are busy. Soooo irritating. I wish I could block him, surely there is a way to do that, with all the technology out there.

That man is trying to give people a virus don't do anything that he says. Just tell him he's going to get reported for trying to give people a virus on their computer.

We have gotten many calls saying we have something wrong w/r computer..we get rid of them..  This time, this phone # said, US Gov was giving me $25,000....   Yeah right !!  beware..

I get allow from this number at least once a week telling me to turn my computer on because they need to help me get rid of a virus.  Today, the man who called (with a nearly incomprehensible East Asian accent) said I have a computer  virus.  I asked him to put my name on his company's do not call list and not to call again.  He said I had not the paid the $10 fee to have my number taken off his call list. I said there is no such practice as having to pay a company NOT to call me.  I asked what company he was calling from.  He started swearing at me, made a couple of unbelievably profane comments and eventually hang up.  Can't some agency stop this nonsense?

caller said windows was reporting problems with my computer. he asked if I was sitting in front of my computer, I asked him where he was calling from , he said Brooklyn , caller ID said Texas , he immediately hung up

Called and said my computer was sending a virus, SCAM, lets get a class action lawsuit going! Caller ID TEXAS

I got a call from this #-  Samr story, computer is in trouble, etc. I asked him if he knew all this, then what is my name. He wouldn't answer & kept talking his scam talk. I finally screamed (in my best kid from the Exorcist voice) WHAT IS MY NAME?!?!?
His answer - "Jack Ass" I said eeeehhh, wrong answer. That's YOUR name. & hung up. LOL!
