I received a calll today and figured it was a scam and after looking at the messages am sure it is.  They told me the same things as the people above.  I don'towe anyone money because I paid all my bills of in February.
These people have been calling me with different people and names for over 2 years.  I have not been arrested yet or seen the problem with my name sent to me in the mail.

I got a call yesterday, but the woman identified herself as Laurie somebody.  It was the same message.  She was a private investigator following up on a complaint where a Restraining Order was being placed against me.  She left an affidavit number, and instructed me to give this to my attorney.  I almost fainted, but when I called the number back, it was a collection agency, not the law. I only stayed on the line long enough to get the name of the company so I could look it up. I guess that's how they hook you into returning their calls, but isn't that illegal?  I had a similar problem a few months ago, where a fake agency like this told me a Process Server was looking for me, and was headed towards my job to serve me with a summons.  They told me that according to my state's laws, I could be jailed for not paying back a payday loan that I'd paid back years ago.  I contacted an attorney to call them, and it stopped, so I have no doubt my information was just passed on to a new fake company. I filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office on the last one, but never heard anything back. It makes me angry that they are using lies and fear to try to get you to respond.  Some of the stories on this message board indicate this company is calling their workplace, and that could get me into trouble.  I haven't spoke to these people, and never intend to, and am hoping they are wondering if they reached the right person.  So far, have gotten three calls, but only one voicemail.

called and let message threating to put a restraining order against me if I didnt reply in 48 hours. I called the number...just got a leave a message...

I got this same call at my parents house 3000 miles from. I've called and called but they won't give me any information. I called from someone's number and now they won't stop calling. I keep asking for a court date and they said I have to be in tx but won't tell me where. They've begun harassing my husband and family but want provide any information. They said I'm refusing to pay but won't tell me what I'm refusing to pay. This freaks me out.

This Number Called me at home today and it came up at Unknown so I answered it They were looking or my mom and they had a case number and the guy that was calling said his name was Chris Logan and that they needed my mom to call because there was a Complaint filed against her. I am so glad I looked on here to find out it was a scam.

Called my mother and left a message that I would be subpoenaed if I didn’t pay a non-existing credit card debt. I called them and went through a very scary conversation. Fortunately they were rude and offensive and that caused me to have second thoughts. Looked them up online and found the better business bureau report and realized they were a fraud. Still waiting for the subpoena.

I just got a call from this company called Asset Management, and I was told that I needed to call this number within 24hrs. 210-892-1308 with a case #C55N2938 I asked what was this about. I was told by the caller she couldn't give me any further details about the case, but if I would call that number they would further assist me. Ok ma ma who am I speaking with and what is your number for which you are calling from. (because when I looked at my phone to see what number was calling me it was unknown) she replied, Tracey Farrell and if you wanna contact me just call that number that I gave you to Asset management and they would refer the call to me.

I immediately called that number at first I got a busy signal and I kept trying and finally the call picked up and the recording said choose an option I choosed option 2 lady comes on the phone this call will be monitored and recorder for quality purposes.

Least to say I'm not going to finish what was said after that and if that call was really recorded then OMG! I hate to be the person that has to listen to that recording. Because it didn't go well...
I dare you call my phone stating that I need to pay you $3000. for something I don't even know what I'm paying you for and furthermore if you are going to say that I owe you at least give me the right to see what you are talking about. This lady was so rude and had the nerve to interrogate me as if I was under some kind of criminal interrogation. Well I guess I'll be receiving a court order to appear in court in 3days.

NOT SURE IF THIS IS REAL BUT I AM NOT GIVING YOU AND NOBODY NO $3000. FOR NO CAR RENTAL. Furthermore you people need to stop scamming on hard working honest people trying to defraud them out of their hard working money. ASSET MANAGEMENT IS A FRAUD!!
