I don't want to receive calls from this number 2124485501 please!!!!

What bothers me the most is it's coming in on my cell phone.  I have received two call so far.  No message is left. Since I pay for minutes, I never answer calls I don't recognize.  Just wanted to add my gripe to this long list.

Someone here said it's okay, that they're good guys trying to do their job.  Really?  Then why do they represent themselves as different entities, coming from the exact same locale?

I was called from this number in May / June 2011 and they claimed to be doing a survey about transportation in their area.  The calls originate from New York.  I do not live in the state of New York.

IMHO, these people are frauds.  Do not answer their questions or take their surveys.

Just an FYI- downloaded an app for Droid called Call Control (logo is blue shield) very user friendly, you add the number from your call log and it disconnects the call instead of sending it to voicemail. Ha ha dumbass..no more calls from you!

The company that owns this number is SRBI.  Their website is here http://www.srbi.com/home.html. People identify themselves differently each time they call because several different surveys are being conducted at all times.Same reason you can not call the number back, general number used to conduct surveys, but could be any survey so can't call it back. If you ask, they will give you a number for the company they are conducting the survey for, send you a letter about the survey or give you a website to verify the veracity of their call. Participate if you choose.

Got many calls from this number.  Very annoying, also on Sunday.

This company states on their web page, they follow the code of ethics while doing these surveys, what a crock! They have been calling my 15 year olds cell phone for a week straight now. They have absolutely no business calling my child's phone, and at all hours of the night, code of ethics my A**!!

Second time they called -- tonight, July 18, 7:16 p. m.  I decided to go ahead and answer just out of curiosity . . . young lady on the phone was very nice, and we discussed a survey I had participated in by Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) last year.  She asked if I wanted to continue since I just took the survey last year, and I told her no.  End of conversation.  Very polite, and I suppose it was a REAL survey call . . . not just some b.s. sales call.  No complaints here ~

Been getting calls from this number for past few days. I don't answer. The caller ID says "unavailable". I never answer such calls and wish they would stop. So annoying!

I was getting a call every single day for the last few weeks.  I finally decided to answer it.  It was a health survey so I agreed to participate.  It was a good survey but don't answer if you don't have 20 minutes to spend.

rec'd 9 calls from 212 448 5501 in the past 7 days.

just get called. A guy named Jeff, say he was from an health department something like that.

You known the jerks runnin this scam are watching these sites for responses; do not give then your real name people.  Be smart. Us the FCC site to make a direct and anonamous complaint.

Parnoid on the 11th

The first day I picked up, it was some guy wanting to do a survey. I said no and hung up. The number called me for the next 5 days, sometimes twice a day, sometimes even really late at night. Today I got a call, didn't pick up like usual, but they left a voice message this time with just a bunch of really creepy breathing.
Block this number!

Just reported the number and harassment to both the National Do Not Call (DNC) List and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
