They call again and again. Five times in 3 days. They hang up after 3 rings. Annoying idiots.

Received a call from this number the other day. Was listening to some old music when the phone rang. I knew the routine of the caller, so I decided to let him hear a song called "Straight to Hell" by the Clash. What a great pleasure my stunt gave me! If someone from this number calls again, that someone will get another tune for his answers.

When I'm not home to see the caller ID display I use the call forwarding feature and have all calls forwarded to the business number for my Sheriff's Detective Bureau.  The calls are gradually diminishing.

If that is your stance and you do work for them, they HOW THE HELL can someone get 4 and 5 calls A DAY if its random?  Tell me please.......Don't bother people.  We obviously don't care what you need to ask or we would answer our phones.  It is called PRIVACY and the last time I looked, I lived in America.  The land of the free....Freedom from being bothered on our phones if we chose to not do business with you.  We will call if we want your 2 cents or want to contribute our 2 cents.  We are not ignorant, stupid or anything else you can come out with.  We are hard working people that don't want our phones ringing asking us questions about things that NO ONE can change.  A poll is just a poll.  Useless, as the people that were polled and the people taking them.

I just got a call from 212-448-5501 and the lady was claiming to be calling on behalf of the Mass Dept of Public Health to do a health survey with support from the CDC. I honestly wasn't buying it since the Mass Dept of Public Health wouldn't have my cell number they would have my land line. Therefore I quietly hung up while she was still talking.

Called Sunday at 2:49PM 10/23/11, range multiple times but did not leave a message. Understand this might be abt SRBI for a survey for Rutgers Univ. The DNC list seems of little use stopping them.

This caller knew that I had taken Amtrak six months ago (?) and said he wanted to ask me some questions, which I thought was about the service I had received.

However, he started asking me about my cell phone use.

After that, I told him to get lost.

I answered the call, because a 212 area code showed on my caller ID, (I am a former New Yorker) and thought it might be someone that I know, (although the number did not ring a bell). Of late, I have been very wary of anyone who calls with an unidentified number and usually do not answer. The man made an allusion to a train trip that I had taken on Amtrak and seemed to have the right time, although it was a few months ago. He claimed that he was doing a survey for Amtrak on WIFI use. He claimed that it would be a short survey, but it was at least 15 minutes. He kept on acting as though I were terribly stupid and "yes, we finally got through that question." After a while, there were more personal questions about the number of children I had etc.., how many people in my household. Although these could have been questions for a standard survey, I was becoming a little leery of the guy. I refused to answer these questions. I decided that all this was too personal and that I should leave my nostalgia for 212 area code numbers at the door. He was pretty consistently rude, but I was also a little bothered that he has information on my travels, since it is  not clear that he was actually hired by Amtrak.

Based on this message and the rotten behavior of one of your interviewers, I would say that SRBI is poorly run and extremely unprofessional.

I do not use Verizon and I received a call from them; so, it probably has nothing to do with Verizon..

As I sit here at my job calling for a youth safety study I must smile. What I am doing is a job with Srbi, the university of new Hampshire, and the department of justice. We are not selling but looking for households with children under the age of 18 for a PAID that's right we pay you for helping in a research study. Since we are paying you the Do not call list doses not apply. We are not selling anything. If we call and you have no children or don't want to do the study then answer the phone and let us ask one simple question which is are there any children age 1 month to 17 in your house. Tell us no and poof we are gone. That easy. We are actually doing good work here and I do enjoy my job. As for the health study your state has hired us through the centers for disease  control so it's not just random dialing your state has asked for us to call. And its through these studies that four dollar prescriptions have came into being and your local clinics staying open. There truly is a purpose. But if you don't want to help answer say your a business and again poof we are gone. Everyone have a lovely evening and remember with out these phone jobs in six states there would be about 6000 more unemployed.
