This #, 213-232-3224, calls me about 7:00amEST and again about 15 minutes later. The first time it hangs up and the second time it beeps once. When I call it back it says "This number is not in use, thank you for calling, goodbye" I called the phone company to ask for help and they behaved as though I'd thrown a snake in their collective lap. No help there.

I think it is Lending Tree- I filled out a form at 7:04a.m and I received my first call from this number at 7:13.

In many cases these auto-dialers don't even have a message when they call you. What they are doing is tracking you to see what time of day you actually pick up the phone (or if your fax is on 24/7) at the number that was dialed. They sell the info to others who actually want to call and talk to you, or fax you useless info non-stop while your fax machine uses up ink that literally cost $5,000 per gallon.

Have you ever wondered why fax machines DON'T COME WITH A LARGER VIDEO SCREEN... so that you can READ the fax in the "memory" before you let it print?...

Because that would be your computer you idiot!

Get rid of all fax machines. No wasted paper, no buying ink at $5,000 per gallon. And you can DELETE all the SPAM in one click.

In case you idiots didn't hear this the first time... GET RID OF YOUR PAPER FAX MACHINES.

I get calls from this number once in a while, mostly calls like this come in on our business rollover line with no option to be removed. Lately as a way to save money on advertising, unscrupulous business owners have been hitting up any and all internet faxing services to get the word of their products out with little reguard for human dignity. About 1/3rd of all calls to my office each year are from [***] like this who only see dollar signs because they live in a dirt shack in the middle of nowhere.

The best way to rid the world of people with genital disfunctions like these sets of balls is to visit the FCC website here: https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/1088aform.do

File a "War Dialing" complaint. Make sure you include as much detail as you can, what number they called, time, day, year, caller I.D.'s and all that good stuff they leave for us to find. You will get a notice in the mail stating the FCC had recieved your complaint and will contact you if any further information is needed.

Haven't filed a complaint for these turds yet, but their getting there quickly. But so far the most irritating of all that you should watch out for is BroadFax streaming from Vancouver, BC directly to your phone.

Non-profit organization receiving multiple calls from this number daily-- and we are recording every single one.  We have an attorney on our board of directors.

Received a call from 213-232-3224; nobody would respond & didn't hear a fax tone, don't know anyone with a 213 area code...?

I am having the exact same problem. Live in montreal Canada +12132323224 keeps on calling. I called the service provider, they can't do anything unless its a life threatening situation. I have to change numbers if i want ti to stoppp. What the [***] can i do just make it stop, tell me how?

Keep getting called (Toronto) from this number and it has a fax beep or tone.  When I call it I'm disconnected because it says the number isn't in service.   2132323224 is likely the display name and not the actual number.  SO ANNOYING!

Received a phone call at 3.23 am from phone number 213 232 3224 and woke me up. Now i am finding it difficult to go back to sleep .

Got two calls -- one at 4:42am from the 3224 number and then another from one at 4:58am ending in 3239.  Same story as other posters -- beeping, yet our fax will not pick up the line, and this isn't the first time we've gotten these calls...

We have been getting virtual faxes from these same people. They are variations on the famous Nigerian money scams. In this case the country is supposedly Indonesia! It is unreal that no one can do a thing about them as once this number is shut down, they will just simply use another.

Please ask them to stop. Who can help us fight the fight?

Call Pac-West Telecomm, Inc.in Oakland, CA.  I just called them and they confirmed it's one of their numbers.  They are sending an email to their customer requesting them to quit calling our number in Minnesota.  Here's the number I called.

Getting a call for the last hour at least 5, just beeps and when I reverse call, the number has been disconnected.

I received 2 calls from this number this morning at 5 am and 6 am. I have also been receiving many calls from a private number. I have not picked up the phone for any of these calls because I know they are spam. I have no idea how to stop these calls from happening but this was very disruptive to my sleep as I use my cell phone as an alarm clock and therefore have it right next to my bed.

am awaiting a kidney transplant so every phone call gets me going--hope its the hospital trying to reach me--and then,i get a phone call at 5:04a.m. on 3/22/10,hoping that its the CALL i been waiting for and it turns out to be that # that nobody wants to get---don't want to see them? killed but sure would like to see them suffer a little bit
