I also just got a call on my cell -I did not answer it since I did not know the number--I also have my number listed on the federal DNC list.

several calls.  similar to above posters.  sometimes a hangup, once was excel wanting in my house to 'see the gas lines by federal order'  I told them to mail me the order & a number where I could reach the government.  Nothing but more calls.

who is this and how do they have my number?

Last night I received a call from this number, 218-740-2135, a man came on the phone after I said "hello" a few times.  He said he was from WE energies.  He asked if we were still on the monthly budget rates,& that the rate might be changing.  I just spoke to WE energies, & she said that this was a legitimate call, apologised for the confusion, & that it's good that I called & asked about it.  I asked if they go through a third party to call.  She said not really, but they do call from  a few different numbers.

I recieved a call from this Co. But they did not leave a message. I am on the DNC list. It said Minnesota on my caller id and ph# 218-740-2135.

Creepy.  This number calls me a couple times a week.  Glad I decided to look them up.  I never answer, but I was very curious.  Guess I'll try asking to be removed from their list.

I have also received numerous calls from this number while I am away.  Those who ignore the "do not call list" can be reported to the FCC on their web site.  When the FCC receives enough complaints, they go after the callers.  I also report any solicitations I receive on my fax machine to the FCC, they are illegal.  I have received notice from the FCC when they do go after these irritating people.  Very gratifing!!
If these people aren't reported, they will continue to bother us.

I have received numerous calls from this nunber and caller ID comes up as "customer link".  I finally answered the call out of frustration and  curiosity, and I was connected with D.T.E Energy, trying to sell their "appliance service coverage plans"

Same here.  Said they were with Aquila, knew girlfriends name.  I'm on the no call lists to.  How did they get my cell#?  I will unleash on them next time they call.

This number called at 5:42 PM on December 19, 2007.  The caller ID showed "Minnesota Call"

I just got a call from 218-740-2135 so I called them back. I got a recording that says they are a sales & marketing firm. So I am thinking that they work for several different businesses.

I have been receiving calls from this number every day, I would love for them to stop!

I just got this number on my cell yesterday. I did not call it back yet, but in doing a search on it. It is registered to a company in Duluth Minnesota. I am on the DNC list also, so how do I report it to the proper authorities??

They call our business phone constantly which is not even a landline but a VOIP phone (nothing we use with the utility companies).  They don't leave a message and we don't answer anyone whom we don't know who it is, we're too busy with customers.

I've received over 20 calls from this number on my cellphone.  I've never taken the time to answer.  I'm on a no call list as well.  Thanks for the info. everyone.  Definitely shows up as a MN number.

I have gotten several calls from this # in the past couple days.  Not sure what is happening but would like any ideas on how to resolve this issue.

I have had 16 calls from this number.  The first time I answered it, the man said he was from my electric company and for $5.95 a month wanted to sell me surge protection for my appliances.  I told him I would think about it and I guess that is why they keep calling bak.

calls every week and hangs up when I answer
