My daughter went online looking at schools and gave them our phone number.  We've gotten at least 10 calls a day from various schools that offer online education.  Just do what I did-answer the phone tell that you're not interested and DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER AGAIN.  It's working.....so far.

i applied for a job on craigslist yesterday and i had to choose a continuious education box before i could submit my application for a local job. somebody called me and asked me questions, then said they were submitting my information to a few schools (a colorado university was mentioned during our call). as soon as this person and i hung up, this 2246537000 hasn't stopped calling since. i haven't picked up and i don't plan to. maybe they'll stop on their own. haha.

I got a call from this # after applying for job as well. I got a call like 5 minutes before from a school that is local here in WV, and right after that this # called. So i think it is that Colorado University place.

They call me all the time, even on Sunday evening. I just gave them a name and special ringtone on my cell phone, name: "do not answer", ringtone: silent. When I check my phone for missed calls I have over 6 from them alone.

This number calls 3 times a day; day before yesterday they called @ 9:47  am, 1:53pm & 4:31 pm; yesterday, they called @ 10:11 am, 1:58pm & 4:18pm. The times they've called today are the exact same as Sunday. So, I'm guessing its either a recording, or two people working alternate days and calling the same number every workday.

I requested information from Colorado Tech, and then I spoke with a rep & I have received the information. These calls started up after I told them it wasn't quite what I was looking for at this time.

Harassment much?

I receive two calls this morning.  The first, no one says anything.  The second, asked "may I speak to Peggy." "this is she" then nothing.  "Hello?" then I hung up.  Is this a customer call center University?

called my house 18  times in three days!, asking for a Kristen. you would think they would have gotten the idea the first 15 time we told them they had the wrong number

These 2 numbers call my cell phone almost every half hour or so.  They are telemarketing numberts from some sort of on-line schools, they are originating from Lake Forest, IL.
How do I stop them from calling.  I am about ready to drive up there and stick my cell up their a$$'$ while I have it plugged into a 220 volt power line

They keep calling - no message. I don't know who they are

I too applied for a job online & part of the resume / application requirements were questions about if I wanted to further my education.  I too thought it would hurt my chances of being considered for the job if I didn't answer their questions about furthering my education.

It's already frustrating enough to have to be looking for work, no one allows you to come in anymore to apply, you have to do everything online & now all these other places have your phone no. & I'm running to my phone hoping it's an actual employer calling & it's this garbage.

How can U find a decent job now a days, when U have to filter thru all the garbage & junk emails? Because they look so authentic & it was really having me believe I was responding to actual employers. ~ so sad ~

The phone # I also get is  - 224-653-7000 - They are doing like everyone else has stated, calling & calling. I don't answer, because it's my cell phone & my peak minutes.

I have read the info from CyberPal Bugs Bunny Esquire at Your Service Bugs Bunny ( too cute ) & I will try to call that ph# & see what happens.

i get repeated calls from this #. one right after the other. no mess is ever left.

I am tired of who ever thjese people are that are calling me daily all day long. They call me in the wee hours of the morning waking me up and it continues all day long and all night. They claim that they are a university that I have contacted but it is not so. They need to stop thjis harassment becaus that is what it is. I am disabled, have a very severe heart condition and this is causing me stress and it needs to STOP.

This number calls me about 5 times a day 7 days a week.

i say hello and noone answers. but they keep calling.
