Has anyone complained to the FCC about these phone calls?  Does it work?  It seems like as a group we should be able to have this stuff stopped.  I, for one, am going to work on it...personally I think its more than just some online university.  Some type of information-gathering scam perhaps.

Does anyone really go to the so-called Colorado Polytechnic University?  If its so great why do they have to call us?

I read this advice earlier in the thread, but it bears repeating: Call the number, take note of the time and date and to whom you are speaking, ask that associate to remove your name.

If you get a call again, repeat the same process, but this time ask to speak directly to a manager, take the date and time and the manager's name. Cite the previous information of your first call to the manager and express the gravity of harassment.

Huge deal: getting called once after being taken off the list is one thing, but being called again and again after being asked to be removed is harassment. Clearly, by the large number of google hits one sees when searching for this number, this university has a history and pattern of harassment. In more jurisdictions, a pattern of harassment is manditory to press charges. Remind the university of this fact if they dare call you a third time.

I received 8 phone calls from this number in less than 12 hours.  They came up as "private caller on the caller ID and left no message.  I called the number back and it was Colorado Tech on-line degree program.  I explained to Shirley who answered my call that their "company" has called me 8 times in less than 12 hours and i wanted to know why they were calling me.  She stated she was sorry and that they should call no more than 3 times a day!!!! Are you kidding me - LEAVE A MESSAGE OR SHOW YOUR INFORMATION ON THE CALLER ID. She said the call was in regards to a request for information I would have filled out on-line for the on-line degree program.  I told her I did do that.  The form was lengthy and specific to what I type of degree I was looking into.  So Shirley asked me what degree program I was thinkibng about persuing.  I told her if she got my information from an on-line form I filled out, then she already knew that answer.  Then very rudely she asked me "if I wanted the information or not....".  I said I wanted to know why they would call me so many times, not leave a message and then not have a clue as to what type of information I was seeking, if I filled out one of their on-line request forms.  Again, incredibly rudely, Shirley responded with," I already told you sorry, now do you want some information or not"? I hung up on her, and crossed off that school off of my list

These people are from Colorado tech online. Daivd Norris or Amber are the contact persons for removing your phone number from their list.They called me 12 - 15 times at work but didn't have the sense to leave a message, just hanging up. So give them a call!

I keep getting calls two to three times a day from this number even though my wife and myself have asked them not to call over and over.

I don't know who this is, or why they are calling me.  I refuse to answer, and they never leave a message.  Just keep CONSTANTLY calling.  I'd like them to stop.

I been getting like 6 calls a day from 224 653 7000 and they need to stop i called and asked them to remove me from there call list and they KEEP CALLING!!!!

I received two calls from this number already today. I will answer the next one and blast them.  I have not filled out any job applications or requests for information, so I don't know how they would have gotten my number. They keep waking me up.

It's a centerlized call center for online school. Once they know which online school you would like to enroll or talked to, they will connect you to them.  They are so aggressive and even the so called advisor's that you speak to.  Unfortunately the calls will come up private and just pick up and tell them that you are already in school.  And tell them to get you off their do not call list.

call ever 2 hrs to  4hrs. No one has been there when answered. Not answered leaves a message
of paper being rustled in the back ground and at times people talking in the background. can't tell what is being said.

I advised them i was not planning on attending college at this time and to stop calling my number, He said ok.

I too have been receiving calls from this number but they just let it ring once and then hang up. I have not signed up or requested info from any online or any other college or technical school. I tried to call the number back to request my name be removed but no one ever answered.

received call on cell i did apply on line for a scholar ship but did not get a message left when called

They have called me twice today. I haven't answered.

I have received several calls from this number in the last couple of days. I finally picked up and they asked for Robert. This is a fairly new number for me and I haven't put it on any online applications or requests for information.
