Called my Cell at 217, I have a 512 area code

got the same call just now--didn't have a chance to answer, no message left. Have gotten similar calls as the other people who posted, but not always from the same number (spanish, garbled, hard to hear).

missed call at 2:29 pm, no message, disconnected as well.

In Austin also...got a call but didn't answer..no message.

Same here, spanish computer automated voice, I've had this before.

"IN SPANISH SAYS " CONGRATULATIONS YOU ARE CALL #10 PRESS 1 TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE" , I HUNG UP AFTER THAT BUT PROBABLY IF YOU PRESS AS THEY SAY THEY WILL CONNECT YOU TO A PHONE THAT CHARGES YOU PER MINUTE. ITS WHAT I HEARD BEFORE IN THIS SCAMS"

Hillsboro OR, Just got a call from this number. No message left called back and says number has been disconnected.

Yah, I received a call from this just like everyone says. I'm in Denver, CO and I found it odd that all of the other calls were received in texas..

I'm in portland and I got the same thing as hillsboro. rang for 5 secs and hung up. called back number was disconnected.

Just got a missed call from this number, it's about the eighth time in a month.

Received the call on my cell in Brooklyn, did not pick up.  Called the number back, and got the same disconnected notice.  Either the notice is a fake, or the number really is disconnected, and the call is not coming from the number.  How?  See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vishing ... that would also explain the static some of you are hearing.  Definite scam.  Be warned.

Tucson, AZ. I just got the same call but let it go to voicemail. It was in spanish by the time it started recording.

231-995-8899 Missed call, left a blank voicemail. Been getting voice recordings in spanish from other numbers as described by others who had been left a voicemail from this 231 number.

Called my cell and didn't leave a message.  I didn't try calling it back.  IS there any way to find out who it is and make them stop calling people?
