the weird number is from a telemarketing company.  when they program their databases they can have whatever number they want to show in the caller id even if the # doesn't make sense

just talked to them... apparently they want to give you a grant (for a $9500 annual fee)


I told the operator that this is a cam, and she told me "Keep telling yourself that" she sounded like she was in HS -- lol

They are scammers who offer you to negociate with your credit card company (you can do that yourself for free) to lower your interest rates.  But they omit to tell you that they will charge you $700 to $900 to do so.   You will see the charge magically appear on your next credit card statement.

Please keep calling 1-877-891-1348 (usually get the voice mail) and 1-800-943-3250 (usually get a "live operator") from pay phones, and try to keep them on the line as much as possible and at the end be rude to them!   Pay it forward!   Let's all do it!  Let's not get mad.  Let's get even!!!  I don't think this company will last much longer with such business practices.

I keep getting calls on my cell phone from 234-567-8900.  I don't answer, but they call every couple days.  Annoying!

Same number, no look up, of course unless I pay for it and then I see you guys on here. Just wondering who or where do we report this?

got the call from 12345678900 i answered, just dead air, then click, i tried calling back then my phone said something was wrong with the number and asked if id like to try again, so i said yes, and my phone wouldnt even dial it again. weird. i thought it was fishy so i looked online and found this site, lets get rid of these [***]!

they call it rings twice.. i answer and they hang up .. then they call again.. how annoying

I just got a call this morning from this number and it is really ashame that these people keep calling. We need to tell the government that if these people call that they should pay us for every time they call our number. Those Scum Bags!!!!!!!!!!!!

These a holes just called me again with a blocked number. Why can these MCS (Mutual Consolidated Savings) weasels still operate?   They are breaking the CRTC (and FCC I'm sure) rules and the authorities / phone companies just let them keep going!    PLEASE CLOSE THEM DOWN!  What can I do to stop these F U C K E R S  from calling me???

This area code originates from the Republic of Nigeria. It is used in a ring of scams that are directly related to the 419 internet scams. The FBI gets at least 3 calls per day about this particular group. Unfortunately, the FBI can do nothing about it without the help from the Nigerian Government. If anyone wants to call the Nigerian Embassy in Washington DC and complain the number is 202-986-8400. Maybe if we get enough to call, they might do something about it. this is getting out of control!

Recieved a call from 234-567-8900. Seemed a bit suspicious. So I got really close to my music speakers, and pressed one to talk to a representative. When she said hello, I blasted my music into the phone. Haven't had a call from them since.

Here are some working numbers for that ring of scammers that you can call and harass right back. 1-877-891-1348, 1-800-943-3250, 1-888-878-1014. Ask for Chris or the compliance officer. I just called 34 times in a row and scared the HELL out of the girl that kept hanging up on me. If they tell you that they are calling to 18 district police on you or something like that, tell them to blow it out their ass. There is no such thing as the 18 district police. LOL. Let's give them a run for their money!

Same thing here.  They called me here in Montreal.  I have no way to get rid of them!!

If you can't beat them, join them.  I have pressed 1, talked to a live representative and waisted her time for close to 10 minutes.  Please note you have to pretend you have more than $6000 debt on your credit card.  Please note: NEVER GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER or ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION, THEY ARE SCAMMERS.

Just had a call from this number, I just switched phone carriers on Saturday, so surprised by this. My phone states that the call was from Salem, Ohio.

I received calls from 234-567-8900 & 000-000-0000. I called the 800# left by "jen" and asked to speak to Chris and was routed to someone named Sherelle in compliance. I told her to STOP CALL MY HOUSE!! She asked for my number and I told her she already had it. She said to get my number off of their list I had to give it. I gave it and she said she would put me on their company's DNC list. I told her I was on the National DNC list and she shouldn't have called me to begin with. I told her that if I receive another call from either number there would be HELL TO PAY!! Then I HUNG UP ON HER!!
