- Wild Billlike many before me, i too got calls from ABT SRBI and many others unwanted rotor calls. So i have decided to treat them like how they like to be treated.
Thanks to site like this, I was able to tracking down the source of the company, and locate their contact info.
VOIP services its pack full of features like, unlimited calls, call logs… etc. I have log all these annoying callers, one by one, I added them to a custom call forwarding feature and forward all their calls back to their office.
They can have all the calls back.

- hate these callersthey have called every day this week so far. i finally was able to interrupt one idiot a few days ago and told him to put me on their DO NOT CALL list. this is supposed to stop the calls but it hasn't. i filed a complaint with the "Do Not Call" registry. I thought that once you tell them to put you on a do not call list they are supposed to stop???

- Karleen WhiteCaller asked for information for a survey: age range, salary range, address, phone number, education level, etc.
- Caller: Did not say.
- Devon| 1 replyHey SRBI employee! If you work for a corporation named 'RAND' that specializes in making legislators pass laws that benifit military personell, then why do you address yourselves as the "Florida health department," then the "Michigan health department," the "New Jersey Health Department," then the "IRS," the the "FBI," and so on and so forth. Please....don't make us laugh. If this is a legitimate surveying company, then I suggest you advise your employer to change there survey pitch when you call people. Otherwise, I myself work for a gov't agency that can and will track you down. That in itself is not a scam. So do us all a favor and [***]!!! It's a shame we don't recognize the privacy of civilians anymore in a country which we used to consider free. Since 9/11, it doesn't seem as though our freedoms are of any value anymore. What a tragedy! But if you are one of the many people receiving phone calls from these people, or are continuing to receive calls, by all means, please, curse back at them! Let them know you're not pleased by there lack of common courtesy for your privacy! Answer your phones and simply tell them to...... "[***] off!"
- TONY BALOZASurvey Crap. They call twice a day. they have been told to remove name from list. They give a bull**** excusse that they can't because a computer picks the call. Utter Crap. Reported to Government
- PMSaid they were doing a survey on women in the house. I said I'm not taking any survey. They said a bad time. I said yes and not to call back.

- socialscientistWOW. I was trying to find some info on a Time poll they did and I found this page. 12 pages of comments and people still don't get some basic facts:
1. SRBI is exempt from the Do Not Call list. That may piss you off, but it doesn't change anything.
2. @ Devon and others-- SRBI runs surveys for places like RAND, the IRS, and so on. They are hired to do the work and then they send the data back to the organizations.
3. Mail surveys keep being suggested. However, for the organizations this is not a logical way to go because mailing questions (in GENERAL) is more expensive and actually gets a lower response rate, so you spend more to find out less.
(No, I don't work for them, I'm just amazed that this is so misunderstood. Where do people think all the polls and government reports get their data?!)- Caller: SRBI
- chill out gus mode!Man yall some straight dumbass the socialscientist knows what hes talking about I used to work for SRBI which is in Fort Myers Florida and in three other places throughought the Country. All they do is do surveys for others companies that hire them. If you do not want them calling you every again simply tell them (HARD REFUSAL DONT CALL BACK) and bam they log it in the computer as HARDREFUSUAL and your number which was randomly selected is out of the computer system..... duh now thats just another business like each and everyone of you do.
- sandy masonit rang only three times and i didn't get there in time.
- don't call againI'm going to get a whistle and blow it in their ear every time they call
They calim they are from Social Security- Caller: ABT SRBI
- MaryI have nicely asked them to quit calling me and then when it continued I harshly told them not to call back but they are still calling!!!
If these people are real.... What gets me is that our nation is having major financial problems but the government is paying for this stupid survey?????- Caller: Abt S
- concerned citizenWas almost sure this was a fraud call - been getting a lot of calls lately, one example is - people with West Indies accent asking to access my computer due to my request to fix via Microsoft. The guy kept cutting in and out, told me he was doing a survey for the state of CA public Policy for concerned Californians. I pushed back by telling him if not about economy, jobs, education, then we were done... funny thing is, he said his survey was exactly that... first the questions were pretty generic and about the state/economy, so on, then it got into do i own a computer, when i refused to answer that question (which he said he would skip); he then asked do i use a computer. it all sounded too suspicious, told him, the call was done, and hung up on him. Citizens have to be careful -- just wanted to take a moment to post this so people ask questions and stay alert, and dont offer anything that could put you in jeopardy of any sort.

- IrritatedI have been receiving calls from this number and will not answer. It is most
annoying. Researched on Google and found they are asking all the wrong questions. It is none of their business. They never leave a message. The telephone company or IRS should do something about it. - FedupFile a complaint online.

- AndiGot a call from this number on 6/9/2009 and the guy asked if I wanted to take a survey; I said no and asked him to take my # off their telephone list and he said it's not a list and that my number was picked at random and said that it was not a marketing call and I said well then I'll take your number from my Caller ID and put it on the Do Not Call registry and then I hung up.
I also have Call-Intercept so I have no idea where he got my telephone # from. - AnonymousIf I see one more moron posting about the DNC registry I'm gonna [***] my pants. If you had this much time to find this website to [***] and complain, why didn't you read the actually law stating that surveys, charities, etc are exempt from dnc lists?? God you people are so efficient at being inefficient.
The government for the most is the one funding these [***] studies and surveys. You think that by contacting your local or federal DNC list is going to fix your problem? The gov is the client to market research companies like 'abt srbi' and the client gets whatever the [***] it wants even if they call you 300x to get it's data. Sample (aka your number) is expensive to generate for these companies so they try to stretch it out as much as possible by calling YOU until they feel fit.
It's so stupid for you to come on here and [***] about how you wanna get revenge by doing the most inane useless things like yelling into the phone. You wanna change [***]? Get your local congressman and have them change the DNC list to include survey research calls. But that's not gonna happen, ya know why? The fed has too much money being invested/wasted in these mom n' pop research firms to endager their data quotas. There is no bad guy here to take your frustration out on, it's just how this business works, all nice and legal. It sucks but that's how it is. - sadIf you signed up for the DNC...read what it was made for! some of these surveys are very valuable and are used to improve things that you people complain about everyday. Its sad that people can be so angry and upset over a phone ringing....I did one of their department of health studies...it was intersting and seemed like it could be very helpful...but I guess you people are more interest in american idol then voicing your opinions...sad.
