'So glad for this website!  I just got confirmation that Maritz Research is contracted to call new TMobile customers within 24 hours of start-up.  I was in the parking lot of the store where I purchased -1/2 hour after! The purpose is to check customer satisfaction.  I told the very pleasant TMobile CS Rep I was suspicious about the repeated calls from Maryland, and refused to answer.  Especially since they don't leave any message!  Since, my # was a transfer from another company, not completely new cell service, I was worried they sold my info, etc.  In this era of data theft and fraud, it is not unreasonable to be extra cautious.  I referred the CS guy to this site so they could realize they have a PR issue.  AND they are paying for a service that most people can't really give genuine feedback so soon after signing on- even 24 hours is hardly useful.

I'm also a t-mobile customer who just purchased a new phone and when I purchased it the woman said someone may call to follow up on her service/performance, thats it.  They aren't trying to sell you anything or hastle you.

Well, I have tmobile as well, and recently started recieving calls from this number, along with several other numbers, from the same place. They keep telling me that theyre lookin for some "krzystof kokoszka" and they wont leave me alone, despite how many times i tell them IM NOT HIM.

I just had a call from these people as well regarding my T-mobile account.

Decided to go through with the survey.

First question, I gave a response of 8 out of 10.

The guy couldn't understand my Australian accent and kept asking what my response was. He even asked me to speak English! By the end I was even saying "it's the number between 7 & 9" and then counting from 1 to 8!

He ended up cancelling the survey!

Hopefully they will review the recording...  especially the part where I told him to "[***] off" (my standard response to telemarketers)

"Voice of the Customer"? If I were a T-Mobile customer I would use my voice to tell these
cretins where to stick their 'program'! If they got upset about that, I'd invite them to meet me
in person to demonstrate on them!

I just received a call from this number.  My cell plan is from T mobile and I just changed to this phone for about 10 days.  I did not pick up as I did not know the area code.

Got a call twice from this # on my cell phone, which is a new phone. Says its a marketing research firm.

I think it's only with T-Mobile customers. I just got the same call.

Upgraded my phone with T-MOBIL about three days ago.  Received call from same number. No messages left.  I received  follow-up call from the local store that handle my purchase the following day of purchase. I would be careful of answering unknown numbers.

so I got a call from 240-699-8945, and I believe since they didn't get me on my cell, I AM NOW getting a call from 240-699-8960 at my home. WHAT's w/that???? I also just got a tmobile phone-pretty sleazy

I am a customer with T-mobile for more then 5 years now, and just got a call from that number - so I guess its not only for new customers...didn't answer...mostly don't answer any unknown numbers. But hey! that is just me...

I received a call from this number today, Saturday afternoon, no message left. The call was made to my T-mobile cell phone.

I've received a call from this # (240)699-8960 twice now to my TMobile cell & they aren't leaving a message.  My # is part of the "Do NOT call registry..." so whoever it is needs to just take a hike & pound a little sand!

This Maritz research COMPANY can call and we have to call 1800-864-8601 for A COMPANY to stop calling. That means the other SIX BILLION COMPANIES can do the same.

I called 240-699-8960 and the message said Maritz Reserach is not a TELEMARKETING COMPANY. They can call me as many times as they want to until I call 800-864-8601 and be taken off their call list. Notice they had to get our phone number from a TELEMARKETING COMPANY. Maritz Research will probably continue doing this, Because they are being paid by a Telemarketing company to do this. HOWEVER, When MARITZ RESEARCH is challenged they will have to STOP. MARITZ RESEARCH is being paid by a Telemarketing Company to do something. That is ILLEGAL for the Telemarketing Company to do.

I've had my cell phone for a week.
1-240-699-8960 called me, I did not answer the call.
I posted my phone number on the national do not call list.
