I think it could be a child playing with the phone since it is not a legit number. I dont waste my time!

Called and asked for the home owner. I asked them to stop calling and they hung up without any further comment. These cold calls are just so irritating.

Saw this strange number on caller I'd.  I rang twice, I did not answer, ring stopped.
I usually let odd calls ring and can check it out later or see if a message was left...

How do we stop the annoying calls from out of the country?  The number 243-345-6789 calls constantly.  There has to be someway to block this number.  I won't call the number back because it is out of the country and I do not want to be charged for the call.

Got a call from 2-345-6789 some man with broken accent told me he was with Windows and my computer had viruses that was messing up satilite system and I need to get my computer fixed.  I started questioning him and he started stuttering. Someone in background was telling him whet to say.  Said he was in Salt Lake City.  Very broken English.  I told him to put someone on that had some sends.  He hung up.
Bothers me that he did know my name.

This usually works for a while. I tell then they have to call the IT department, why are they calling me. Then I give them the phone number of an FBI or Homeland security office switchboard.

according to caller complaints -- Spoofed Numbers: Caution, 243-345-6789 is a "spoofed" number, which means that whoever called you "tricked" your caller ID to display an incorrect phone number. Telemarketers do this so you cannot complain, but they failed... you can still file a complaint here to fight back against unethical telemarketers.

I do not believe you can be sue for blowing a whistle in the phone, because they are calling illegally when your on a do not call list.

Called last night at 9:40 pm didn't recognize number so let it go to VM, only "message" was a man's disgusted snort as he hung up.

I said der esel  ane   osiot   acen?  in several languages it means [***]. No comprendo.. haaa haa try out a phony langusge they hate it. The government won't help, and  how can they sue for using a whistle? Good idea

Got the (243_ 345-6789 call. I picked up thinking it was a friend returning my call. I said "Hello" and then got some silence and could hear MANY voices in the background from a call center. Hung up. I love the idea of the Pedophilia Anonymous response!! Fantastic!

Got the solar panel sales pitch. I pranked him with the Dr. Phil soundboard found here: http://www.realmofdarkness.net/pc/sb/drphil/3 I had the salesman talk to Dr. Phil for 8 plus minutes. He hung up when Dr. Phil told him to start living as a gay woman. Sound boards are a great revenge on telemarketers. Also very entertaining.

Get real people. They don't care about DNC list. Report the number to the FTC. FTC loves chasing scammers.  FCC likes to investigate the spoofed numbers. STOP CRYING you are on the DNC and do something about it!
I merely answered one of these calls with 'City morgue. I work with dead bodies and unless you are stating you are dead and ready for autopsy, I have nothing to say to you.'  The caller stated she would take my number off their list.
I am retired and never was a doctor. Spoofed them. LOL all day.

Do people really fall for this crap?  (I suppose so).

Look out for scammers looking to get personal information (credit card, bank account numbers, SS # and so forth).

I just a call from this number.  They call me so many times to tell me about the solar panels, and they want to speak to the homeowner.  I always tell them to remove my number, and the hang up.
