I keep getting this call and I am not late on any bills.

Damn it's Kohls Dept store and I forgot to pay. My mistake. At least the message just states to call them. Unlike other jabroni's companies where they leave personal information on VM and it has absolutely nothing to do with you!!! Thanks KOHLS for following PROPER PROCEDURE and sorry I'm paying late!

This number keeps calling me and doesn't leave a voicemail. When I answer the phone nobody is there.

What a rediculous waste of everyone's time. Kohl's calls my home phone every two hours for a few days, and leaves a creepy robot vm telling me to call back.  So I call back and I am greeted by an operator who barely speaks English. After struggling through my identification details, he asks why I am calling.  I say, "Look, you called me and left this number" and so he informs me that my payment due in early March was late (it's March 24).  Uh-huh, I know. My mistake, I'll pay the late fee. He wants to remind me that my payment is "due soon" (10 days from now) and wants to know how I plan to pay it, and would prefer I supply my checking account info immediately to pay by phone.  I've been a Kohl's customer for 15 years, and never a late payment--one little mistake and they are all over me like loan sharks.

Thanks for the number & GREAT idea.  I do have a Kohl's card, but I am NEVER late with any payments, so I will do as you suggest, and we shall see how the CFO likes getting these phone calls.  I never gave them my cell number either.

Called but did not answer.  Looked up the number on this site and looks like a scam call.  First time I have had a call from them.  This site is great!!!

I believe that this is a phishing scheme and is not actually Kohl's but someone posing as Kohl's to get your credit card/checking account info.  Do not blame Kohl's or retaliate against them, I don't think they are involved in any way.

Got a call today.  I answered and woman said  " I'm looking for John Block".   I answered " no one here by that name"  and hung up.  First name was right - last name wrong.   So...  John Block beware who ever you are !!!    Sounds like phishing call.

Kohls dept. store wants ss #.  Never did biz with them, have no card with them.  Yet they pester me beginning at 6:30 am. Call all day. Leave msg. Annoying.  

Received a call this morning from this same number. Phone was on silent so I didn't answer, after calling back and getting an automated machine it requested my account number or my SSI number. Requesting a individuals SSI number in being a company is a FEDERAL OFFENSE. please report this number to you're state law enforcement agency IMMEDIATELY. This is not Kohl's at all it is a scam.

OK so i just dialed the kohls service line and was directed over to CARD SERVICES, upon explaining the situation and providing them the phone number we are all complaining about here the lady informed me that the number i had provided her WAS NOT on her list of number at all for the entire corporation. she advised me to not call the number back and she was immediately forwarding my complaint to her supervisor. BUT before we disconnected the call i gave her a direct link to this web site and this forum post about the number. from her frantic reaction it seemed she was super concearned that the name KOHLS was being tarnished and defamed and i sensed a true urgency in her voice. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND CALLING THEM AND MAKING A COMPLAINT

First time I have fielded this number for the new year. We have a business/home phone. Am tired of being on the DNC listing ( that has no teeth to it) and having unidentified automated calls messing with our business!! I would Love to help prosecute some of these callers!  *sigh* would never happen.

Rec'd a call saying I needed to call Kohl's today and rattled off a phone number, but I didn't have a chance to record it.  So, I called CS. I just made a payment online, did some shopping in a store today and am expecting a rebate soon, so thought I might have a bit much going on and maybe there was a problem.  CS couldn't find any issues with my account and just before they were ready to transfer me to the rebate center I asked them to look up the number 262-703-1977.  She had me on hold for about 2 minutes and came back to advise that it is a form of spam and if they do call back and ask for any info do not give it out!! It is not a Kohl's number!

received a call. Never knew it was Kohls until I came here.. I called it back. The automatic voice mail told me to hold on to take a brief survey.. LIES!!!!!!!
The guy told me my payment due for Feb 8th was past due, and when could they receive it.. I told them they can receive it once I get a damn bill, and once I receive a damn card. I started a charge card with them over a month ago when I purchased some items. Never got a card, never got a bill.
He was confused and said okay we will get one out to you. Then asked if I wanted to make my account current with a $25 dollar payment. I said NO. I will pay the balance of $191 in full once I get a bill, and as soon as it post to my account I will be cancelling the card.
Lame Kohls.. I will shop at their store, but if one of the cashiers asks me about starting a charge card. They are gonna get a mouth full of "Shut the F.... UP"

They called at 8am pretty much on the dot. Automated call, wanted to talk about a account. Asked to press buttons, than enter SS #. They called again every 4hrs or so. THIS IS NOT KOHLS, Defiantly a scam.
