I got the same it is so weird

This number called in response to a legitimate call from another person regarding an HOA issue. Readout on phone was No Caller ID. Voicemail identified self as Cheryl from management company emergency unable. Unable to contact Cheryl on callback to emergency number. Can a 9-digit Lesotho phone number be used in US?

i got a call form this number several times in a row. when i answered a lady with a central american accent said 'who is this' i was like you called me XD told them my name and they said oh wrong number sorry.

This number was into a Microsoft Teams conference today.

This is a number criminals and legit users use? To many hacking and snooping into my computer. Getting into my private accounts and calling me in regards of what I’m dining in my accounts. I noticed choice of words by the caller were not online with my previous experience, with legitimate staff. Better to block. If a person has to hide. Their is no need to converse.

Yeah they called me and it said from that number. They left message but it was static

I had this call saying they found my cat who is missing. Went to the address they gave me and found out it was a prank. Very upsetting

My daughter received a voicemail from this number. the weird thing is they knew her friend's first and last name. how is that even possible?  I'm so freaked out by this. The caller said that my daughter's friend owed him $40,000 and he better get it or he will put human s*** all over our yard.

First off, this is a phony debt scam. 100%. Besides, a voice mail is not legal notice of a debt.

As to having info, scammers can get that from your daughter's social media posts. Or from the friend's social media. When they are after large sums of money, crooks like to have leverage to make you think they are all-knowing, and legit debt collectors. In fact, they are engaging in threats, fear and extortion. It's a lot like the IRS, but with less mail.
