My wife received several calls and was a girl asking for the home address. The number is listed under my name so she asked for me.

I am sick of getting calls from this place every 10 mins come on 26669-6687

I recieved  several calls from 26669-6687, they don't say anything, they can't be very smart, about like a corner hooker.

i also geting calls from that number on my phone in Croatia!

I get these call also time to time and if I have a little time to waste (unfortunately, not enough), then the entertainment value is priceless. I just just cooperate completely and very politely and give all the answers they want thus believing they are doing their job, extremely well I might add. However the info I give them is strictly old school...lol

Then, I give a SSN that is, at least partially, an offensive acronym.
Make sure to give out a partially offensive acronym for credit cards as well (just make sure Visa begins with the number 4 and has 16 digits (begins with 5 for Master) and just make up 3 digit security code on back if required.  Amex begins with the number 3 and has 15 digits with a 4 digit security code on front of card. DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR ACTUAL REAL CARD NUMBERS - THIS IS JUST A GAME TO GET BACK AT THESE ANNOYING MORONS!!

Finally I give a DOB of 6/9/69
Now just wait and enjoy the amusement as they take quite a long time to figure it out. (I suggest a speaker...lol)

P.S. - Don't let them say the card is invalid, tell them you are looking right at the CC, or SSN card and that it must be a mistake on their end - this will waste quite a bit more of their time but unfortunately your time as well, but if its entertainment along with revenge that you're after then It should be worth it.

just never pick up the phone with any weird numbers  let it go to your answering machine  or voice mail .. if its someone who wants to talk to you he will leave a message ..
people need to learn not to answer  every call they get ...  back in the 60 ;s  70 's  80's all we had was a house phone  ..  and we survived  ..  
seems like today the world is going crazy if the phone rings ....   I say LET it RING untill its blue in face ..

Guys it's a debt collector and or scam artists. Don't analyze it too much, they bought one of my debts well out of the statute of limitations fishing for money. Just put nothing into the phone call and if he's calling multiple times block it. Or answer and laugh at his tactics. Just never acknowledge or for goodness sake make a partial payment.

Wi-Max Communications is the "organization" claiming to be anyone from Better Business Bureau, someone  from Windows, etc....DON'T ANSWER!!

Rung once. I did not pick up. Googled it and got to this page. I will label it as "BLOCKED" in my contacts so I do not pick up by mistake.

WE have been getting the calls with 26669-6687 too on a Magic Jack number.  After reading about calls like this, I tried calling the magic Jack number we have by dialing *67 and then the magic Jack number.  MY telephone number showed up on the magic Jack as 26669-6687 just like the anonymous calls we were getting several times a day on Magic Jack.

You are wrong.  When you block your phone number, it comes up the same way with 26669-6687.   We have magic Jack and we get the same calls.  When I spoke to them they claimed they were from Premier Bankcard.  I called our Magic Jack number from my cell phone.  and it did indeed come up the same way as when the harassers call.

Got Text Message FROM "Anonymous" and my White Pages caller ID identified it as 266696687 from Lesotho, a city in Africa. I couldn't delete this text message but after working on it awhile, I made it disappear via my third party text messenger. Then I blocked the name Lesotho and the number to hopefully prevent more texts or calls from this scammer. Hope this helps.

got a call from this number in the middle of the night  BUT NO ONE ANSWERED AT THE END ... I traced the call and it came from  LESOTHO , South Africa..

I have been getting harassing call from this number and I am pursuing legal measurements to eliminate the problem.

Asked for my name, The owner of company. He knew the name of company but didn't knew name of owner. He then asked me to whom I should send a postage. A bit weird I asked him what he want to send me he then dropped the call.

I have the recording of the call I wonder can I sue them? T
