Just got the call today. Googled it and it took me here. I got it once before just yesterday but I picked up today and it was a automated message telling me, "Please hold and the next available representative will pick up shortly." So I waited then it hung up. Going to donotcall.gov to register my number oh and yes, I have a magic jack as well.

yes he says he is from midland and wanted to talk to so and so, told him he want be here for 2 months, >>well shall i take him off the list? ask who is midland and he said that midland is confidential and he is not allowed to say more ..

calls every 30 minutes.  mj owners only

This number comes up at least three times a day and of course I have MagicJack. I really need to complain to somebody about this and have them do something about it!

I to have been getting this call for about a month #26669-6687, they will not give their # or name. I have told them they have the wrong # and still i get the call. So i am going out to get a air horn and when they call again they will hear a surprise greeting. Enough is enough. I to have a Magic Jack.

Just got a call today 11/8/11 @ 3:20 p.m., I pick-up the phone,  the male in the another end asked for my husband, very strange, when I asked who was calling, he just hung-up.  I have a magic jack,  I'll register my mj number in the donotcall.gov list.
I've getting calls from this number 266696687 for the past two weeks.

Just got this as well. And no one except close friends and family knows my MJ number. I will not answer it if they call again. Very annoying!

I think I've figured it out. That's what comes up when you receive a call when the person is blocking their number.That's what happened when my brother called me with his number blocked. I guess magicjack isn't set up to display unknown or blocked calls any other way.

got a call from this # 26669-6687, person wanted counselling and talked for 39 minutes. I have magic jack and cannot return the call. is this a legitimate phone block?

I got a call with this number on my magicjack. After reading the other comments ( +266696687 stands for +anonymous ) it made sense. I really like this site. Thanks

My neighbor  has a blocked number and the 266696687 number shows up on the phone every time  she calls  BUT when I check my notification emails from magicjack her real phone number shows up .
I get an email every time someone leaves a message from magicjack saying  "you have a new message from phone number  ***-***-****.

My neighbor was quite ticked off when she realized that blocking her number did not work when magicjack sent the notification  email.
So if you have set up magickack to send you an email every-time someone leaves a message you should be able to see who is calling you with a blocked number.
The 266696687 number is just magicjacks way of displaying a blocked number.
The callers  blocked phone number will be displayed in your email notification from magicjack.
So before anyone decides to bust someones eardrums with a bull horn or scream obscenities into the phone  you may want to read the notification  emails magicJack has been sending you.
Before I realized what was happening I felt like throwing my phone out the window.

I've been getting calls from that number once or twice a day for over two weeks and I'm really annoyed. The last two times I've blown a whistle into the phone when I answered it. My phone always shows "anonymous" with a small "a" whereas other anonymous calles show as "Anonymous" with a capital "A". I've called Magicjack to complain and they say they have no way to track anonymous calls, I pointed out to them the if the anonymous callers are asking for people by name, then they have some access to Magicjack records that match the name to the number. I supposed they could also have credit card numbers. Customer support was not very helpful at Magicjack so I suggest everyone call them and complain and threaten to cut off Magicjack service.

if i call my magic jack from my verizon cell blocked(*67) it will show this number on magic jack caller id
