yea i think that it does stand for blocked call cause my mother inlaw just called with that number. and her number is blocked..

I was 't home yersterday the 14 sept.2011,and when I got home,someboday had call my magic Jack number and stayed on my number for 3:51 .Even though I have a voice mail,he did not left a message.
I call back this morning and the answer was:(You have reach the Y max or Y mast recording number and this call was succesfull)

My question is :where díd they get my number or who gave it to them
I hope somebody finds out

we just got this call,did not answer it since we don't answer calls that don't have enough numbers to be from any of our friends in the US,lol........my feeling is it's a scam. And to answer the question of how they got your number.....it's probably automated dialing,it'll dial millions of combinations of numbers based on the area they are targeting.

The number does originate from South Africa but the people calling are calling from different coutnries. Not just in Africa. It's a false number really. The person that called me was from america, apparently the persons that call other people have different accents from all over the world. My guess is the south african number is just a mask.

Get repeated calls from this number.

I get a call from this number almost every day on my magic jack. sometimes it shows that it was a 15 minute call or 20 minutes or 2 minutes. I think they may be trying to hack into my computer through the magic jack. I can see how it could be done. I am going to change my phone number.

Yes, I too get repeated calls from this number and a few others. Seems there should be something we could do....Too bad we can't put a voice sign on our number saying: no solicitors, like some have on their door.

Correct, this number is some Wi-max person who solicits people asking about their home wireless capabilities.  Their new thing is keeping track of MagicJack numbers.  What I did was added my magicjack number to the National Do Not Call registry (donotcall.gov) and they have not called back.  MagicJack must furnish a listing of their numbers to the government for investigation.  Calls that register as Anonymous mean the person calling you has caller ID blocking services through their local telephone company.

You're 100% wrong, it's the Wi-max testing number.  Calls that come through as anonymous are different.
