I receive several calls from this number on a daily basis.
I answered a few of them but they hang up. One of the times they asked for someone else, and I said they got the wrong number.
Today I got 2 missedcalls. One in the morning, another at 1pm. I decided to call back and there was a message saying that thas is a number to track my order. I pressed 1 to know the hours of operation and they said "Monday to Friday, bla bla bla" and asked to dial my phone number with the most convenient times to call back.  I didn't do it.  They never mentioned the name of the company which is very odd.

My phone number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry, as may be some of yours.

I just filed a complaint with the Registry - which is operated by the U.S. government.

These telemarketers know they are not to call any numbers registered, and in so doing - they are in violation of federal law.

I've had 2 missed calls from them. Since I know nobody with a number remotely resembling this one, then I don't answer. I instead googled this number.

Glad somebody started this site and reported this number.

Caller ID showed "Customer Service"  I don't answer them.  I have an answering machine and caller ID for a reason.  If the calling party wants to talk with me, they'll leave a message.

If you call the number back they give you options to have your number removed from future calls. Mine said that they were confirming "delivery". Of what... idk. But you can remove your phone from there internal call list.

They found out about my credit card number!
The asked me isn't it your card number ending in XXXX?
And I found out that was my number.
They make you think like you ordered something from them.
I kept saying No Thank you over and over again to stop her conversation.
They neeed to be reported and stop their heinous business around the country.

Unbelievable... They called me from 269-768-2622 she couldn't give me the name of the company she works for or tell me where she got my information from after asking her several times she just told me that I was a preferred customers with one of their clients.  BOGUS!  I called the bank and cancelled the card as soon as I got off the phone with her!  When I did try to call back that number - it said "Order Confirmation Dept."  Yah right!

I got a call from this number. 269-768-2622 today. I work at as security consultant and have blockers on my Blackberry from the GOV. You can get similar blockers for blackberries.  Go to crackberry.com. Look under APPs and it is called Privacy Manager. It costs money, but I got for my girl and it blocks scam emails and calls. I have advised my clients because they are hitting the  Vegas market hard. I hope this helps.

Three calls today. No voicemails. I'm concerned because I never give out my cell number for anything.

I received 4 calls within 40 minutes from 269-768-2622 on my cell. I didn't answer and the caller left no voicemail message.

Just like everyone elses i keep getting these phone calls. LEAVE US ALONE!

It's a scam similar to the EZ-Rate one.

They will have most your info (name and stuff) making them sound authentic.  But they'll need one detail (like the security number on your visa/mastercard in my case) to confirm it's you.  Then they'll use that to charge you.  I know that there's a similar scam that chases your account number for debiting purposes.

The spiel I got all three times has been along these lines (the details alter a little for each call):

"Hi, Catherine, this is "so and so" calling from your Mastercard ending in XXXX.  You are a preferred customer due to your recent purchase history and/or repayment history.  We'd like to reward your loyalty with $200 worth of gas coupons.  We'd also like to offer you (about) $500 worth of benefits for your next holiday -- where would you like to go?

"Blah Blah Blah

"You just need to pay the $1.95 postage and handling/shipping/processing fee.  Now I need to confirm that you're Catherine Lastname of XX Street and City in State and Zipcode?.  Good and your card number is XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX?  Good.  Finally, I need to confirm you're in possession of the card -- can you please flip it over and read out the security code to me?"

The phone numbers related to this that I know of are: 269-768-2622 and 517-933-2030 and 616-980-1151.

I assume there're more numbers but these are the three I've been contacted by so far.

HANG UP AND REPORT THEM.

Your bank or credit company will never ever need you to give them the details -- they issued your card and have all that stuff on their computers.  They know those and at the most will read some of them out for you to confirm.

got a call from these nitwits and many others over the last 2 days.  i don't even answer the phone anymore.

They call and when I answer they hang up.  Tried calling back and get a recorded message saying its an order confirmation number without a way to talk to someone.  They have called at least 3 times in the past 8 hours.

I received a call from this number several minutes ago.  I didn't answer and no voicemail was left. It was from anybody I know.

Got a call from a female at this number stating she was with "Direct Savings". She asked for me by my first name and stated that I had recently made a purchase with my Visa card that qualified me for $120 in gas coupons and asked if I still lived in the city that I live in (she identified my city). I said yes but what purchase are you referring to that qualified me for this? She said, "that's a good question and unfortunately I am not privileged to provide that information to you." Then she began to ramble on again and I tried to stop her to ask how it was she had my personal information but cannot supply it back to me, and when I attempted to stop her for this reason she got frustrated and tried to cut me but when I insisted on finishing my question she said hung up on me. Like I was did something wrong! HA! So I guess I get to call my bank and cancel my bank card yet again because of my information being given out without authorization. Yay...
