I got the same lines..........free gas card with a trial offer I can refuse. Said he got my info from a recent order with a "partner". I told him I only shop online at Amazon and he said they are partnered so I told him I would cancel my account........he laughed! No idea where this came from but I have been on the "do not call" list for a while. I did cancel my account at Amazon.com.

Been receiving calls from this phone # since Sunday. Last week, I was receiving calls from 9547194093, which is a Florida #. Same thing... Hanging up when I answer, and not leaving a voicemail when I ignore or reject the call.

HOW DO I MAKE IT STOP?!

Have received calls at least 3 time a day from this number. No one there when I answer.

I live in Washington and recieved a call from (517) 933-2018 the other day, I didn't recognize the area code so I didnt answer. They called twice and left no voicemail. I looked the number up online and it was a Michigan number, and  most people said it was a scam number trying to get your credit card #, address, etc. The next day I received 2 calls around the same time of day only it was from an "unavailable" number and I didn't answer, and once again no voicemails were left. Then today I received a call from this number (269) 768-2622, didn't answer because I didn't recongize the area code AGAIN, no voicemail was left AGAIN, so once AGAIN I looked this number up and same thing as the other number, based out of Michigan and is trying to supposedly "confirm an order" and wants to get information out of you.

I got a call from this number and after becoming very concerned upon hearing my CC number being given to me on the phone, I asked the person for how they got that information. I was given to a "supervisor" who gave me a website to get contact information from so I could call them tomorrow and get to the bottom of it, the URL he gave me "www.vista@marketing.com" My first response to him was that this was an e-mail address not a URL, he insisted that it was a website so I looked it up on my computer at that moment and what do you know, it was invalid. I told him it was invalid, he disagreed and hung up on me...I am PO'd and will search this company out tomorrow and get very PO'd with someone who can give me answers!!!!

They knew I had recently made a credit card purchase and wanted to give me free gas vouchers, for a shipping charge of $2.95, that they would charge to my account. They wanted my account number. I asked for the company name again since I originally thought they said VISTA. I said no thank you and hung up. I thought the name was too close to VISA and was used to confuse me. Now I am happy I didn't accept the offer since it is obviously a scam to get your credit card number.
I am going to try the FTC site and see if they can help.

This is a scam. Get your home and mobile numbers registered with the FTC's Do Not Call Registry. The process takes 72 hours to register and then another 31 days to take effect. If you have actually picked up the phone, they can claim that they now have a relationship with you and they can call you regardless of whether you are on Do Not Call. That's life. Change your number if you need to. Do not give them any information of any kind.

At least 20 phone numbers are registered to two companies Triton and Lucre. You can read about them at Lucre dot net and Customizedcallingcards dot com. Search around the latter site, and you'll quickly see the connection under About Us. There e-mail spam servers are linked to at least 13 mail servers all over the world. Your cellular provider can forward your home number to your cellphone, so calls to your home only ring once. It cuts down on the noise. You can use your home number to dial out at YOUR convenience. Don't let scammers get the better of you.

I just got a call from this number. Didn't answer it and they didn't leave a message. Caller ID read Customer Service. Haven't bought anything lately, so just let it ring.

Got several calls today from this number.  Answered on the last call and they told me it was rewards program and that I would receive $100 in gas couples and started asking me to verify things such as where I live and ranted of last 4 digits of a card..I started asking them who they were exactly and didn't tell them anything...they hung up or the call got disconnected.  These are definitely scam calls..If you get any calls from them do not give them any info or confirm any.

Also, do NOT use your debit card if at all possible, for purchases online unless it is a well trusted site that you know and are familiar with.  There are alot of scams out there.

I have received multiple calls today from the 269-768-2622 and of course no voicemails. I am getting irritated with this knowing it is a scam.

I have received 2 phone calls from 269-768-2622. First I missed last night. Second was about an hour ago, they asked for James.  I told them wrong number.  Thanks to this site I will block them with google voice.

This number has been constantly calling my CELL phone.  I have tried everyway possible to get them to quit calling with no prevail.......I am ON the do not call list and they still call.

I got a missed call from this number.  I called it back and it is from so order dept.  I did not order anything.  The only people that I have ever given my cell phone number to was the jupiter jack people.  They are a rip off companyand I am sure that they have sold my cell phone number to everybody in the world.

Hmmm I'm nervous to even call back.

I keep getting phone calls from 269-768-2622it rings twice and hangs up. this has been happening all day.

I got this number as a missed call and I noticed I had received it three other times at exactly the same time.  Glad I don't answer my cell!!
