I just got a robo call asking me something like "Joe is sending out blast invitation. Press 1 if you're going"  (althought i didn't quite catch it.

I didn't pick up the call, and no VM was left

Just got the call asking what I'm bringing to the pot luck.  I pressed 1, hoping for more information.  Got none.  They just said they're looking forward to my dessert.

I suggest you give them a cosmo blast back saying that, if they don't cease and desist, you will sue the [***] out of them.

Same call.  Asked about a daughter's birthday party.  I have verizon wireless.

I just got a call from this number, it was a guy asking what color he should paint his house, 1) for green, and then I hung up.  It was on my cell and I am on the DNC list.  I have Verizon.

... funny enough i was asleep when i received the call.. no voicemail left

I'm at work ...WORKING ... and this annoying robotic recording was asking me about my preferances on hotels.  This automatic dialer must be found and destroyed.
I guess the "no call" list isn't perfect.

11-14-08 @ 9:29am - I just got the same call. Didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer. No voicemail. My number's on the DNC list too. I have Verizon, so it doesn't look like it's carrier specific. Thanks for the info Harold, I will also file a complaint.

just got a call from someone at 302 336 7401.  no message.

I got this call today and answered but only heard half the message. I didn't press "1" like it said to and it disconnected the call after a few seconds of silence.  I googled the number and found this board, went to the Hey Cosmo site and blocked my number:

IF YOU DONT WANT THESE CALLS, go to the heycosmo website and block your number. These are not a telemarketer...... Its your friends that apparently enter your # on the site and it "pranks" you. Sorta dumb if you ask me......
Dont bother with the DNC register...... Just go to the site and block your number...... Hope that helps.

got a missed call on my cellphone. my cell is unlisted and on the the DNC list

Got a missed call from this number. No voice message was left. They just hung up. I am with At&T.
