Just got a call too.  Male voice asking me if I wanted a sandwich (press 1) or a pizza (press 2) for the conference meeting tomorrow.  I just hung up.

just got a call from this number- used to have t-mobile but switched carriers in Sept. filing complaint...

Got the wierd call asking what should I do for my daughter's birthday, amusement park or movie...very wierd as today is actually my daughter's birthday!

I rcvd a call on 11/15/08 and a silent vmail was left. My cell # is also on DNC and since I pay per call (a tiny amount, but still!) that means these bozos cost me money as well.

I received a call at 10:30 this morning and was naturally annoyed.  I have since followed the advice given above by RF and blocked the call on the HeyCosmo website, and filed a complaint with the DNC registry.

Instructions (thanks, RF): First, go to www.heycosmo.com and have your number blocked.  Then go directly to https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx if your number is on the national Do Not Call list.  Be sure to enter your number that the company called, the company number (302-336-7401) and Arsinal Interactive, Inc. as the company name (HeyCosmo is just a service that Arsinal Interactive, Inc. owns the intellectual property right to provide).

this number called my cell phone 8 times in 2 days.

I got this on Saturday Nov 15, 2008. I didn't listen to more than enough to hear it was a recording and know it was spam. I'm using TracFone in Oregon since about '05. Previously, same number for 10 years with Sprint. First call of it's kind for me. Very annoying with my pre-paid minutes. Will file complaint. These people should be charged with stealing.

I didn't answer when I got it. I have T-Mobile too. Those jerks probably sold our numbers.

I called this number back and it said "hey cosmo....direct tv...." then I hung it. SPAMMERS

robot voice asking me where "we should meet" and a guys voice cutting it saying "the mall or mary's place". Then cuts to some ad to play a game online.

I didn't answer, but it's annoying to have to waste time retrieving the voicemail.

Rec'd a call on my cell phone from this number the other day. Some woman's voice asking something stupid and irrelevant; I didn't listen long enough to even remember what it was about, just hung up.

Got a call from this # twice.Did not pick and they didnot leave a msg.

I just got the call and I didn't answer the call because I didn't reconigize the number. I have AT&T so I don't think it's a T Mobile thing.

I just received a call from that number.  When I answered, the robo-voice said "Lisa is sending you a cosmo-blast..." at which point I disconnected.  I find this very annoying.  The last thing I need is cell phone spam!

Just got a call... answered and got some stupid recording about a BBQ.. filed complaint with FTC at the donotcall website.

Called my AT&T cell number (also on the Do Not Call list, like many others).  Did not answer.  Call originates in Dover, Delaware.

I'm a subscriber with AT&T and ever since I signed up with them, I've had three telemarketing calls, all recordings -- which made it more annoying since I can't just simply tell the other person to remove me from their list.

This number called me today, so I googled it and came up with this. It sounded like they're calling from a company called "Eight Cosmo" or something like that. I have emailed AT&T to see what I need to do. Either way, I want the silly calls to stop.

I see alot of folks say the DNC has their number.  They have mine too.  I didn't answer the call.  I have Verison.

It has been publicized that there was a Chinese cyberattack on the Obama and McCain campaigns.  If this is where the caller got your number then they probably have your credit card too and can be using the call to get you to confirm a charge on it.
