The problem is that there are too many people in the sales and marketing professions these days.   As you may have already noticed there are not many real jobs anymore, and there are going to be even fewer real jobs available in the next few months.

The only opportunities for many are as Commission Sales People who only make money if they make a sale.  Many of them don't make any sales.  

They often become Sales Bandits.   They use all kinds of eves dropping and espionage tactics to try to get sales leads.  They analyze every detail about the consumer's appearance age gender etc. and all of the consumer's preferences and behaviors in the same way that a Military Intelligence Specialist would analyze a target.  They actually call the consumer a target.  They actually become stalkers and peeping toms, and I can't understand why they don't get arrested and prosecuted for the crimes of stalking and voyeurism because what they do fits the description to every important detail except perhaps for the motive being to make money.

Many of the sales that they make are not honest sales. They will save your billing information or credit card number from a previous purchase, and then they will make future transactions and put them on your account without your permission, and the only way to make it stop is to change your credit card number.  They may still send collection agents after you to force you to hand over the money or else they make a negative entry on your credit report.

As I stated in a previous comment, shown above, the Government Agencies do little or nothing to reign in those rogue marketers since the same thugs who run those Marketing Agencies also have their own people running the Government Regulatory Agencies.  It is a case of  "The Foxes Guarding The Hen House."

My concluding statement about the issue is "Wake Up America".  It now is time to repair our Economy and confront the rogues who are trying to destroy our Economy.  We need to elect Independents to public office.  The two major parties have become The "RepublicRATS", and now both The Republican Party and The Democratic Party need to be replaced.

Got a call, no message.  Just had a feeling it was from some creeps thring to sell something.  I am on the do not call list.

Received a call at 9:30am 12-29-08. Phone rang for just a few seconds and then stopped. Logged on here to trace the number as I'm unfamiliar with it.

Received a call from this number on my cell phone Sunday afternoon. Did not leave a message.  I too am on the "Do Not Call" registry.

I received an unsolicited call from this number.

Called my cell phone today at 9:43 am, no message.
I have no idea who this company is or why they would be calling my cell phone.

i am on the national do not call list and received an unsolicited call from this number.

called @ 17:35 12/25/08. did not answer. left no message. losers.

Got a call on my cell phone last night, am on the do not call list for both home and cell phones.   Bunch of [***].

Have no idea who this number belongs to and I will not answer unknown phone numbers.

I'm not sure what's more annoying...this stupid prank call we all received or the ramblings of "Bill"  Do we really need the "Messiah" because of a number we received on our cell phone?  How about common sense? Sensible people know not to give a credit card number over the phone, to a company they didn't even solicate, to purchase something they didn't want in the first place.  I mean, right???

We are intelligent people and are capable of solving problems without waiting for the God of Goodness and Light to save us all from the Demon Delaware Devil Phone Lucifer- Evil guy.

Any opportunity to throw your preaching in, huh Bill?  jeez.  It's a phone call dude.
