Telemarketing calls are similar to spam emails which cannot be eliminated. Whenever it is a telemarketing call, I press the talk button and put the phone in my drawer and let them talk to the drawer. In that way, I'm sure they are not going to call again.

This call was to confirm that I received the telephone directory that I instantly put in my recycle bin a few days ago. So - it's legit, I guess. Why unsolicited phone books are still being delivered in this day and age is a mystery to me. I feel bad for the people who actually pay for those advertisements and listings!

Keep getting calls from this number. I have caller ID so I don't pick up on it. I am also on national DO NOT call list

I don't care who they are if they can't even spell "confirmation" properly they are suspect business. I have an unlisted number, skanks.  There needs to be a "vishing" category, voicemail phishing is their business. They ring you via a computer and it counts if your machine picks up, even if it's set to block it will detect a live telephone number and they sell it.

I received a call from this Company - Product Development - this morning .I actually DID order a local white pages directory from them a few days ago.  I assume they were certifying my request. Don't know for sure cause they hung up before I could answer,

So why don't you say anything when we are polite enough to answer our phone to an unfamiliar number???  After 3 rings I answered and nobody was there.  Nice!

This is obnoxious solicitation no matter how they pretend to play their cards. How is it they can get away with this crap? My call had nothing to do with the telephone book. Was a sales/service option offering, and for a network I do not subscribe to. Having some voice repeat this is not a sales call, yet they're offering various services at a price, should not make this a legal way of telemarketing.

Why are they calling Canada too. The phone company should be shutting them down.

Got a call from 303-280-8689, when I answered the caller hung up. I was watching CNN when the call came in, and after I said hello, I though I could hear an echo of the program I was watching, which tells me the person calling was also watching CNN.

Just got a call from this A**holes. Wanted to know if I got my anachronistic yellow pages. Even though I did receive them I told them "No".

Best revenge: make their survey's useless. When one of these companies phones you don't yell and scream about the Do Not Call list - sabotage their efforts and then black list them on your phone.

I just received a call from the above number.  I don't answer calls that I don't know.  I look them up on this site.  After reading comments I do believe that it was calling to verify a phone book that I received recently.  That got me searching and I found that there is a Yellow pages opt out www.yellowpagesoptout.com 
I confirmed this via a huffington post article of 2/3/11.  I registered (asked name, address, email, phone #) (not sure I wanted to give it, that is why I googled it and saw the huffington post article).  It looks like I am opted out of the three yellow pages that I get delivered that I then throw out.
I have not yet tried emailing my phone number to the DoNotCall@teampdc.com that michelle of product development corp stated in a post here.  I will do that when I finish this.

anyone else think the Do not call list is not working? I started answering my phone with "do not call complaint department! do you wish to make a complaint?

They call but since I have the calls on don't disturb they don't leave message and hangup.
