Report a phone call from 303-280-8689 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- kimNumber was on caller ID the day after our new telephone books were distributed door to door, no messege on answering machine...after reading some of these other comments it seems as though they are trying to verify receipt of your new phone book, although no one left a messege probably because i am on the do not call list....just a wild guess
- ceiI received a call from this number just now, Sept 8 2008, at 5:54pm CDT. I did not answer it because the number was unfamiliar. I am also on the Do Not Call list.
- Steve| 1 replySame experience for me as all the other comments on this site. Saw this number on 9/9/2008 at 15:33. Did not answer, Googled the number and ended up here. We did get a new phone book last week (which I promptly recycled) Who uses paper directories these days??
Regards from Texas
Steve - RikiThank you for writing about your experiences with this phone number. I also *69'd it to find out the number but did not call to find out who it is since I don't know anyone in the (303) calling area. I'm also on the no-call list; big bunch of good it does, though.
- PeteAll this makes sense, given I just received my new phone book! YEAH.. I'm finally somebody!!!
- J WToo many calls to my phone
- Product Development Corporation| 1 replyProduct Development Corporation (PDC) is a national distributor of telephone directories. PDC utilizes phone calls to confirm delivery of telephone directories. PDC does not leave the survey questions on an answering machine. The Federal Do-Not-Call legislation does not apply to organizations that are not soliciting (selling or marketing something). PDC is not soliciting.
PDC uses delivery verification through phone calls because of the cost and quality of this quality control method. This type of quality control process is done by all the major companies in the distribution of telephone directories. Having said this, PDC is aware and respects that there are individuals that would not like to be part of this type of survey. As a result, PDC has created its own internal Do-No-Call list. If you or anyone else would like to have their phone number removed from our calling lists, please email the phone number you wish to be removed to DoNotCall@teampdc.com.
I would like to reiterate that delivery verification calling is a quality control standard in our industry and that each company that does this type of quality control is responsible for their own list. As such, even though PDC will no longer contact all numbers that are requested to be on our DoNoCall list, you may be contacted by others that do not have this capability.

- AdrienneI saw Product Dev on my Caller ID so I picked the phone up and immediately hung back up. I refuse to pick the phone of for numbers I don't recognize and sometimes ignore the ones I do. I'm on the DO NOT CALL List but I guess that doesn't matter to some people.

- idontusephonebooksHey PDC, wake up you morons. Have you considered a phone book opt-out?????
Phone books ARE advertising so you ARE soliciting (selling or marketing something). They are no longer a service of the telephone utility, but a revenue generator for their "partners". Our phone bill is controlled by our utility commission, and for some reason they don't count the phone book ad revenue in utility rate calculation. PDC is obviously soliciting (selling or marketing something), unless as a non-profit, you are providing ad space for free and just distributing phone books as volunteers helping humanity? After all many people here locally use them in winter to heat their homes. - Tom SimmonsPlease have the number not call here any more.
- B JI received a call from this number shortly after receiving phone books. That must mean that it generated by Verizion as thats who the books were from.
FIY...if you sign up for a "free" anything or fill out forms on the internet or in person you open yourself up to phone calls. Those are just marketing ploys. The DNC cannot save you there.
Also, the Do not call list does not prevent Charities from calling you!- Caller: A T & T
