First time from "Product Development"

They left no message, so I called back and got a recording saying
the "number was no longer in use"; yeah, right!

Not sure who this number belongs to, but I will not answer this number

Just got a hang-up call from them, even though we are currently on donotcall.gov

got one of these calls just now   303-280-8689

Called me in the middle of the day on my cell. showed up not as product dev, but just as 303 280 8689. they were silent when i picked up, then hung up.

Freakin weirdo keeps callin us too. Who the hell is this?

I got this call today (July 30/08) at 6:39 PM.  The caller ID said it was the call was coming from Colorado.  When I called back it rang 3 times on the other end before I got a message saying the mail box was full.

I amswered thinking it was a business call for me. It was AT&T asking if the stupid phone book was delivered to me and it gave the number that called if there were any issues.  Of course the mailbox was full.

Who uses phonebooks anymore?  I haven't touched one in at least a decade.  Well, that's not true - I used a small one to fix a wobbly chair.

Did not pick up- got to love caller ID---I too am on the do not call list---but some people just work their way around it.

Product Development Corporation (PDC) is a national distributor of telephone directories. PDC utilizes phone calls to confirm delivery of telephone directories. PDC does not leave the survey questions on an answering machine. The Federal Do-Not-Call legislation does not apply to organizations that are not soliciting (selling or marketing something). PDC is not soliciting.

PDC uses delivery verification through phone calls because of the cost and quality of this quality control method. This type of quality control process is done by all the major companies in the distribution of telephone directories. Having said this, PDC is aware and respects that there are individuals that would not like to be part of this type of survey. As a result, PDC has created its own internal Do-No-Call list. If you or anyone else would like to have their phone number removed from our calling lists, please email the phone number you wish to be removed to DoNotCall@teampdc.com.

I would like to reiterate that delivery verification calling is a quality control standard in our industry and that each company that does this type of quality control is responsible for their own list. As such, even though PDC will no longer contact all numbers that are requested to be on our DoNoCall list, you may be contacted by others that do not have this capability.

Their contact information is below. If you call their main number and press 0 you can ask them to remove them from their lists. I'd also call the last number listed (Procall Solutions) as that's actually who is making the calls.

They say they are not bound by the Do Not Call list because they're not selling anything commercial...which I think is baloney but that's what they say.

I can't imagine how much customer service time they're paying for in dealing with all the angry calls they're generating...

Go to the do not call list website and report it! When they get enough complaints, they will take action against the telemarketer. Not sure why a Colorado # is calling me about a phone book being delivered when I live in Chicago. Sounds like a scam to me.

I also like everyone else got a call from this number, I believe there was another number thats called me on my cell phone too. Anywho heres other numbers that have called my two phones. 315-207-4761 and 940-235-6741.

Caller hung up before answering machine came on. Came up " Colorado " on my Caller ID.

The bas****s are still at it. Has anyone ever heard of a penalty being levied against these people for violating the "Do Not Call Registry?" I am sure our congressmen are on it. Yeah, right.
