I didn't answer the first call.  Get one occasionally, and sometimes rather late, but not as often as most of you.  Perhaps that's the secret.  Don't answer!!

Thus far today (Sunday, 9/12/09 at 10:30PM)
I received calls from the this number at:

4) 6:32PM
5) 7:21PM
6) 8:26PM
7) 8:27PM
8) 9:27PM
9) 10:27PM

They left no message.

Based upon what I've read from comments, I'm really starting to think it's a ploy from the Local Phone Company, for me to pay a fee charge to block this number.

about 8 calls on Sept 12-13.  Called back and got msg "number has changed or is out of service"

this number called about the same time a few times a day for several days.  I answered it once briefly and there was no one there. I verbally said to quit calling.  It quit for a day or so and started again.  I have not received a call recently from the number.

Receive several calls a day from 310-429-5382.  No one is ever on the line when we answer.

this number had been calling me for couple time already, and there is no body in the other side of the phone. who is this man, so ignoring..

I have received three calls today on my phone. I would like to report this to the FCC and have them take action against unsolicited callers.

This number showed on my caller ID, no idea who this is.Called at 6:15PM on 9/16/09

Good God! me too again. Got number from *69 I tried to call back but only got the change number or not in service messege. Then it came again at 9:55pm and 11:05pm.

whoever this is with this number has called me 18 times today on my cell... I am also getting the verizon wireless message... It is almost eleven oclock at night and it woke up my children...  I am very very angry... I just registered my name on the do not call registry... omg this makes me angry... this is a felony to make harassing phone calls... If I knew who this was I would press charges...

310.4295382  same comments... when you call this #back it says it is a nonworking Verizon #.    it called our house today at 5pm.... never a message, etc... same stuff for years now.   I think I will harrass verizon till this is solved.... want to join in ???

The calls started 9/24/09 at 9pm. If the call is answered it only lasts for 10 seconds and hangs up. I called it back once and the msg says it's a VZW number. Since calling the number back it seems to only be getting worse, sometimes I get a call every hour and this has been going on for more than 2 days. I don't know what to do. My theory is that it's a prank...bogus number programmed somehow to call various phones. Maybe like a phone virus?? Hope this isn't forever, I like my current phone number and don't want to change it!

Go to http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm and file a complaint.

Caller did not respond altho I did not answer- simply lifted phone off hook and listened.  Finally caller hung up]  Only designation= "California"
