About fees charge, of course if you don't do it do you expect someone else to investigate and do leg work for Free especially now days. Nothing is free. You pay for what you agree to get if anything. Got a call this morning from Mr.  Demes.   I immediately reported my credit cards lost, and requested new cards.  I will have them within a few days.  Don't fall for this scam!

can others who have been contacted let me know the amount that Mr. Demes said he had found for them?  I want to see if it's the same as he promised me.  If so, I will think that it is definitely fishy.

I Googled the company and found out they were sued by the New jersey Attorney General for fraud -it involved tracing surplus from foreclosure sales and they did not follow the law.  I'm wondering if that's what all these people they call have in common?  Their houses were sold in foreclosure?

Got a call from this guy in regard to an unclaimed inheritance for my estaranged sister in law. He sounded like a real friendly sort of guy. Told me who he was, etc. The death happened over six years go..everything has been settled. But he insisted to get contact of my sister in law. Hey Charley! What is my "finders fee" in all of this?

I just got a call from my uncle last night (2/6/19) and was told that Charles Demes was trying to contact me about $19,000 inheritance due to me. I did have my house sold in foreclosure 5/2018. Makes me wonder if your correct.

This is a scam, and an old one.  Check the posts in this thread, they go by to 2007 and always associated with that name "Charles Demes".
This is apt to be an Advanced Fee scam - you will be asked to pay some sort of tax or fee to get your $19,000.  The payment will be requested in some sort of untraceable funds or transfer.  You will never see the $19K.  Ever.
