    Hi Everyone.  
    I am the real Edward Straw and yes someone is using my name to adverise an apartment fraudulently on Craig's List.  He has been using the name of many of the exectutives from my company.  We have made legal attempts to have it stopped but for some reason have been unsuccessful thus far.  Craig's List says that they don't have the ability to track ads by phone number.  

    I hope that no one else loses any money to this loser!!

    I just wanted to say that he almost got a family member of mine. We responded to an ad of his and he was using your name Edward Straw. We went and looked at the house without him obviously and it all seemed to good to be true so we did some more research and my family member found these posts. We didn't send any money but he does have their name and date of birth and address info. My family member also contacted the company that is actually selling the house to let them know and to let the actual owner know what is going on. I have read all of these posts and all of the e-mails are the same. What a creep and i wish i knew what he looked like because i would spend money looking for him myself and he wouldn't be able to talk, walk or use a computer after our meeting either. We are very sorry to the people that have lost money to him.

    Noe he's impersonating actual people - he said he was Edward Straw, a big wig at Canadian financial institution ABT Financial. There is an Edward Straw who works for that company, with a web presence, and when I reached out to him through social media the real Edward Straw told me this has been happening to him for "longer than you would believe." So much for moving my wife out of the slums.
