Also been getting calls from this number. I answer and they ask for Amber, I say this is her. Then they hang up. They have called me 3 times today. not sure why. Ive decided just to ignore it.

The Same with me i pick it up three times though and called back once the same thing happened then they called back again and this time said something. so college university and they started asking me question but i was to mad to answer any of them so i told them what the hell did they want and all that crap. i think they are fony

For the past few days they've been calling frequently just as others have described.  Hubby called back once, since they don't leave a message on the machine.  The same as others have described--recording indicates it's an un-named customer service line.  

On one occasion someone did happen to speak to my husband--they asked for me and said it was about continuing education. I KNOW that I didn't fill out any applications, etc. for anything at all related to this kind of thing and I'm VERY stingy about giving out our phone #.  

Yes.  I'd like this to STOP.

continue to get repeated calls from this number. Finally a person was on the other end when i answered this time. said she was calling from university finder so i said i was interested. just trying to gather info but our conversation was cut off.

OMG they drive me NUTS ! Noone is ever there...... I am on the DNC list and I DID NOT fill out any Surveys or College stuff. How did they get my Number?

They've called three times over the last two days. No one responds when I answer, and their voicemail says something about customer service.

ok so they called and i hung up and a couple seconds after i got a call from 302-727-0810 (diffrent area code i know) and it was the same woman pushing me to use thier service she thought i dropped the call, iv called this number many times but its a muffled voicemail. you can call it for yourself, i hate this spam

I have been geting two or three every week day for about 3 months now. Most of the time it's when I am not home but it is an anoynce so I called the phone company and asked what I can do since I am on (as I asume all of you are) the national do not call list. I was told by a verizon representitave that the reason they hang up is they are targeting a female voice and if they hang up before I can tell them that we are on the NDNC list they can continue until my wife is home and they hold on long enough for her to tell them. In other words they get one shot and they target it for women. just have your wife answer and blert it out before they can hang up.

They call me at least 3 times a day and hang up most of the time.  What do they gain by doing this? It's so annoying!!!

Called twice within 4 or 5 minutes and did not leave a message either time.

sometimes there is a way to block numbers. I realize this post was from quite some time ago, but I've been getting these calls as well. If your phone does have a way to block numbers, it would be under settings, then security.

Just got 2 calls from this number in 10 minute...no message just a call to my cell number.
