Well I've just reported the # to the FCC, and they've made a case file for it...we'll see how this goes...

They called and I answered.  Some guy asked for two minutes of my time for some college survey thing.  I told him I did not have two minutes and he hung up

13 calls within the past few days. Since the 21st. They then tried to use an "unavailable #" this morning, woke me up at 8:00am and left me a voicemail for "jessica smith" stating they aren't sales persons, and that it was a documented attempt at reaching me. The crappiest and lamest scam I've ever encountered. It was so obvious. Whatever you do, DO NOT give them your information. Set your phone not to ring with this number, restricted and unavailable calls if you can or have their #s blocked. This is sick. I also filled out a survey and ended up with this problem.

Any ideas how to make their lives as miserable as possible? Let me know.

I have gotten 5 missed calls to my cell phone from this number within the last 2 days. After the first missed call I called them and left a message and I picked up today and they hung up. Now after reading this website, I can see that this is clearly a scam. I called my phone provider and they said they cannot block phone numbers, so I called the local police and they said to leave a message on their answering machine saying not to call me back or I will get the police involved. They also said that if they continue to call, I should go in and file a complaint. I would definitely suggest not answering the phone calls and not giving any information at all. Hopefully this will be dealt with soon...

I completed an offer called "University Finders" on a GPT site,so that's how they got my number. Thanks for letting me know who it is.

called and hung up so i called back and it was a customer service line

I recieved the same call and as with the other stories once i called it was an answering machine telling me to leave a message for their customer service.

They have been calling my cell about 4 times a week for the past 3 weeks???? Unless a message is left it isn't important but they can stop at any time!

Same thing as everyone else. I've gotten calls from 3 different numbers today, all within the last probably two hours. I'm at work which makes it even more annoying. I've looked up all 3 numbers on this website and everyone says its always for a spouse or for a minor in the family about education crap. Who would want to waste their time doing this for a living!?!?!!?!?!

I have been getting calls from this number as well. I never pick up the phone unless I know who is calling. I got a voicemail from them with heavy breathing and voices in the background. The call about every hour. I have got to the point where I just ignore it and my phone hangs up on them.

this number 315-207-4761 calls up to 10 times a day, when you answer they hang up, when you try to call it says to leave a message.

I answered, made some weird noise and the person made the same weird noise and proceeded to ask if this was the "FIKS resident".  I said no and hung up.

Have been receiving calls twice a day for last week. I just filed a complaint with the FCC, check it out on web site and file a Form 1088G.

The caller is targeting folks one again! I got a call from this number today and did not answer.

Called and didn't leave a message

Keep getting calls from this number 2xs per day along with another number 805-567-0132 on my cell.  Very annoying!!!  Registered on the Do Not Call List Registry but still continue to get called.

They have been calling me everyday more than 3 weeks now. I think they will not stop. The best way is block this phone number in your phone OR change the ring tone in this number to silent, that will help them annoy you. :)

I got this today, missed call. it didnt even ring fully which was really wierd, called it and got the customer service leave a message crap...if you want to talk to me you leave a message!! lol

BTW the do not call list is for solicitors, people selling crap. if they are offering a service of some sort they can get away with it( i know this b/c i worked for a water softner company calling people to give them a "free $50 gift card" for us testing their water and getting thier opinions. my boss/owner of company explained this to me once i got tired of ppl hanging up sayin im on the DNC list)

Can anybody tell me how to stop these people from calling me

I don't really understand who they are or how exactly they got my number concidering I give it out to no one but family and friends.
they called me 6 times today... 3 times yesterday... a few times the day before that once at 7am and they hang up before I even have the chance to answer it... it's ridiculous and harassing I called and left a few messages on their "customer service" bull but they still continue to call. I'm calling my phone company tomorrow to have them block the number.
