    If I receive another call from them, after I have told them to remove my number, they will receive my standard "Cease Communication" letter with notice that I will be billing them for consulting fees as well as reporting them to the FTC and my state's Attorney General.

    I am sick of receiving repeated collection calls for people I don't know!

    They've called me everyday for the past few weeks. I don't answer and now that I found this website and all the comments about them I'm glad I didn't answer. Can someone make them stop?

    They call me and ask for some other person with a name I don't know, and I've had this number for like 3 years... annoying, can we have our phone company block numbers?

    I am aware now that this is DirecTV and where the number is from, however, the message that is left on my machine, I am unable to understand because it is in Spanish. I do not speak or understand Spanish, so how do they expect me to follow through on my half, when I don't know what it's about!

    3192741904 - callsa & hangs up daily!!! I put my account on hold since where I lived we were not capable of putting a dish. I finished my 2 years but then thwy sent me a 450 bill in the mail!!! if the last couple of months don't count to my contract simply freeze it until I move back there in a month. they say they can't because it is in "collections". I got this bill 2 weeks ago & have sent MANT messages with no returns. I told them I would like to continue my services with them in a month or 2 when I move back... "well its in collections already" 6 motnhs of unused time is 450... ok can we unfreeze it in a month its in collections... how could something be in collections... I paid my bills? this very wrongm I told them I want to continue service... they didn't care & that was the manager!!! now they r calling me 3 times a day... when I called them to get it straightened out because there must be a boo boo somewhere!

    I had DIRECTV but when I had to move into a apartment that would not except them the first person I spoke with was very understanding and said that all I had to do was send the receivers back later on I found out different when I received a bill and started getting harassment calls from the collection company, Don't ever sign up with this company they are a fraud

    I get calls on my cell from this number.  Started at same time every day then changed to different times like they are trying to get me to answer.  They never leave a voice mail.

    Qwest,DirectTV.and the cbe group are all lies very unprofessional they need to go back to school and pick up some manners Stay away from Qwest Direct TV> CBEGroup They all need to go to another planet where there are some mean people that would deal with them.What a bunch of creeps.Sure happy they are not my family

They lie , cheat , and steal.They charge you to lease their equipment , then charge you upto $5.99 to protect it against repairs.They will also make unauthorized charges to your credit/debit card.This is 100% accurate , google DTV complainsts , it will blow your mind , they had over 20,000 complaints in 3 years , thats a BBB record.They have 3 lawsuits pending , in California , Washington , and Oregon.This does not include the silent suits.My goal is to get congress to open the Foot Ball League  Sunday Ticket to cable companies , And all Satellite companies , At the top there is a Petition , my goal is to get 1,000 signatures then I\'m sending the petition to congress.America needs competition , what if there was only 1 electrc company , gas company , Or auto maker?You Get the point , Thanks for your support!

    Got several calls from 319-274-1904. They wanted to talk with someone about a personal matter, but would not give any further information. The 'conversation' ended when I hung up. Eventually I got a 'bill' for the 'amount' owed from CBE. They had a note on the bill that I could send a letter disputing the charge back to them, which I did  The calls eventually stopped. However, on checking my account online with DIRECTV, I find that after several statements of zero balance due, there was a balance forward amount due, that had never been billed. My account with DIRECTV had been for a test run, and payment was via a credit card. When I canceled the DIRECTV I got bad vibes from the person I talked with, so I called my credit card company. When I mentioned a problem with DIRECTV, they stopped the conversation, and told me my account with them was now canceled, and that a new account was automatically opened, that I would receive a new card in the mail within a couple of days, which I did receive. I never got the chance to ask my credit card company what to do, they just did it. I guess DIRECTV already has a 'NAME' in the credit card industry. DIRECTV never mentioned that they could not charge my old card, nor did CBE.

    I had Direct TV for many years then cancelled. they had several people try to call me to retain me because I was such a good customer.  they said they'd give me 6 months free.  I ended up not using any of the 6 months because I wanted to try another company's promotion.. At the end of 6 month I checked with DTV & they had charged me money & didn't care that I hadn't used. Now they are harrassing me for $100.  i don't even answer any more.

    My husband and I went with Verizon who is associated with DirectTv for a bundle package.  Verizon never told us that we don't have FIOS in this area until they hooked our stuff up nor were we ever informed of a 2-year contract we were automatically signing with DirectTV.  Our internet was SO slow... We called Verizon too many times to count and they sent 3 technicians to our house to basically tell us that there wasn't anything they could do... We call the last time to really have it out with Verizon and come to find out that we live 8500+ feet away from their business... Then we find out that if you live over 8000 feet away from the company you are out of the service area for DSL and they should have never sold us the package deal in the first place. Verizon then lets us cancel for free but tells us we will have to contact DirectTV seperately... We contact them and explain to them what happened and they tell us it's not their problem and they are going to charge us 450 for cancelling with them and since they already have our credit card number we don't have an option but to pay!!! Straight out of the man's mouth!!! This Verizon/DirectTV deal is a JOKE!!!

    Little did they know, we had had to get a replacement card a month before the cancellation so they couldn't charge it to the card.  We will NOT pay this!! We would have NEVER gone to DirectTV had it not been in the Verizon deal... Verizon forgave our 400 cancellation fee with them but DirectTV said it's not their problem... Worst idea ever!!! Our cable bill seems like cake now after going through this hassle just to save a few dollars!
