this is an attempt to collect a dept. please call 18005273300. (I don't owe any money to jcpenney) It is a new cell phone and a new number and the old owner of the number must be in debt because this is the 4th call from a company looking to collect on a debt. How do I stop these calls?

Calls every morning.  never leaves a message.

Received a call from 330-433-5966.  I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number.  Caller left a message stating it was Synchrony Bank regarding a JC Penney credit card.  I do not have a JC Penney card so I called JC Penney directly from the number on the website and the customer service person asked for my social security number.  When I wouldn't give it to her she said she needed it to verify my account.  I again told her I did not have an account and she asked for my phone number.  I did give her that and was told I was called in error and my phone number would be taken off of the list.  Be careful of these people.

10 to 20 calls per day between cell phone and house phone.  No messages.  No one on phone if I answer.  If it is legit, they  three  things need to happen,...#1 stop using a computer to dial my number, dial it directly and and talk to me....#2 leave some kind of message when you do call and don't reach me...#3 One call a day is all you need to make.  Annoying me with repeated calls will not get me to pay my bills any faster than I am already able to do.  I have to wait for my money so you have to wait for yours.  Yes, I know I'm behind.  But you got your late fee last month and you'll get it this month too.

JC Penney collections dept. AND I ain't paying $hit. Charges are all spouse's purchases (I never got so much as a sock) and I'm getting the calls to pay it ???  Yeah, right, they all can blow me.

This was an automated call from JcPenny's telling me that I forgot to make my credit card payment. Oops!
