    I receive a call from this number each day with no messages left, I just wish they could stop.

    Ebsco Teleservices - call everyday, sometimes 3-4 times a day.  I called 800 456-5105, advised them to take me off their list and was adised that they were calling me to renew "road and track" magazine who had given them my info.  they were polite and removed me from ther auto dialer system.

    Got several calls to the switch board from this number. Suspected trade publication renewal service. Looked up Ebsco Teleservices and confirmed they are indeed telemarketers. The next time they called, I told them that company policy did not allow their calls to be forwarded then said goodbye and hung up. The trade magazine folks call for years--yes, YEARS--after a subscription runs out trying to get people to renew. Get a clue! After two years of calls that haven't been returned you should figure out that they aren't interested. The pub's aren't even worth lifting out of the mailbox. Stop wasting time and paper!

    I receive calls from EBSCO Teleservice at least 3 times per day. Our answering machine picks up our messages.  They never leave a message.  Therefore we do not answer their calls. However, I just read that they do not call back if an answering machine picks up the call. That is simpley not true.

    Yes, this Ebsco Teleservices is becoming a "royal pain in the you know what and where" as they have not stopped even after being told we are on Federal and State DO NOT CALL lists. Person(s) I have spoke to have refused to honor the requests so I have filed again. I will no longer answer their calls! I just keep filing against them.

    It's a magazine subscription notification service. They usually call to let you know whether you want to renew your subscription or not (even if the magazine is free).

    Just call back the number, and let them know you wish to be placed on the "do not call" list. They are extremely polite.

    Ebsco calls relentlessly and does not leave messages.  If you answer the phone you have to wait for several seconds for someone to get on the line.  They called me about renewing a magazine subscription.  My only hope for getting rid of these kinds of calls is to ask they remove me from their list (they must) and THEN to complain to the company that hired them (in this case, "Old House Journal".  If the people who are paying Ebsco get enough complaints, maybe they'll stop using them.

    I have no idea who this company is, but they call me every single day, several times a day, even on the weekends. (Before noon on Saturdays and Sunday afternoons.) How do I get them to stop? I've had it with them. I am on every no call list that I know of. This is ridiculous. Please help!!!

    Unfortunately in this case, "Do Not Call" doesn't apply. They're allowed to call you because they have an "established business relationship" with you through a magazine subscription. Calling you to renew the magazine is allowed by law. They also know that the FCC doesn't really enforce a whole lot of the time, only the very worst offenders.

    Yep, they sure are annoying as ****. Some firms call several times a month for more than 18 months trying to get a renewal for a trade publication that's not worth the paper it's printed on. I think their aim is just to wear people down until they give in. They wouldn't keep doing it if it didn't pay off. Sigh...

    Won't stop calling - 3 to 4 times per day - no messages. I am on the national do not call list. If this is EBSCO I have had a problem with them about a year ago and asked to be put on their do not call list, but apparently that doesn't work.

    I'd recommend e-mailing your local police department, the FCC, and your Member of Congress - yes - the calls from EBSCO are extremely irritating.  Make sure you CC the Ebsco contact info and try going to linkedin or jigsaw to get a more direct contact name to let Ebsco know how you feel while that government agency is also CC'd on the e-mail.  They should be wiped off the telemarketing map for lousy business practices

    we are on the DNC list and they still call. we ask them not to told them we are on the DNC and they said their records would be updated. just received another call few minutes ago looks like they do not know how to update their records or stop calling.
