    You may have gotten a nice reply from ONE agent....but they will continue to call and call and call and call.......I have been in touch with the DNC registry and am filing a complaint with the FTC......I have also contacted them DIRECTLY and they still call with their special "offer".
    Just wait......you'll get more calls....

    REGISTER a complaint with the Do Not Call registry....e mail the company directly and file a complaint with the FTC......good luck - I am in the process of trying to get them to stop as well. Read my reply to Kyle.

    Thanks for the number.  I did call this today 9/1/10 and they were polite and told me that my number would be taken off within 24-48 hours.  I was getting calls constantly with noone on the other line!  Ughh!! Thanks for the info!

    i used to work for ebsco and i hope you know there is no "dnc" list. we were calling for services you ALREADY GOT and if you just picked up the phone, we wouldn't keep calling.

    EBSCO IS LAME BUT ITS A JOB

    I currently work for ebsco.And its legitimate. We call with lower offers for current subscribers for the publisher. The ONLY reason you are getting calls is because you wont pick up. Its automated. Theree isnt [***] to be done by us. And if you are rude to one of the associates the stupid ones put it as callback so yelling at them will result in a professional hangup and callback (If it sounds proffessional on the recording theres nothing you can do). We are very polite and just tell you the lower rate and ask why you dont want to renew for the records,if someone says no we have to put in why. My advice is if you dont like the magazine just tell them and make it easier if you hang up its a callback. If you arent on the other end we HAVE to call back. And leaving the phone off the hook, callback. And just hitting buttons, callback. And when you put your kids or spouse on, they arent you and could be saying no to something you might want and not know about so its a callback. They also call and renew free subscriptions and free crap. Like Pizza shop mags,grocery store mags, nursing,home reports, and dj's.
    You should just take the 20 seconds to realize the situation before you act like an idiot and yell at us for calling everyday.Its the computers fault not us.

    And P.S. Not everyone is christian so we do call on sundays its when people are home. I dont think its very christian to cus someone out. Jesus wouldnt approve.

    Its a crappy job and im getting a different one but i just thought id share from an ebsco employee point of view.
