Calls and does not leave a message.

This agency has been harasssing my phone number and calling everday, including Sunday, 4-5 times a day. Nomatter the circumstance and call backs, I continue to be harassed. This service is non-stop. I donot want and never have desired any service from EBSCO AND WANT ALL CALLS TO BE STOPPED IMMEDIATELY.

Add 301-874-1757 to your DO NOT CALL list. We have been on the US Government Do Not Call list for ages, but obviously this does not help.

We would not buy anything offered by Ebsco Tele under any circumstance. I hope the FCC or whoever closes you down for your endless harassing calls.

This number calls me every singal night between 8:00 and 8:30 and then called me last Saturday at 10:30 in the morning. Very very annoying and I hope someone stops them soon.

get my name off this list.  they call all the time, never leave a message and I have repeatedly put my number on the do not call list.  Should we all band togther and file a class action suit?

I was receiving calls from them daily.  I found this message board after Googling EBSCO Teleservice.  I took Freddy's advice with the 800 number he provided(800-456-5105).  When I called, a rep picked up the phone right away and transferred me to Customer Service once I told her I wanted to be removed from their call list.  The customer service rep promised that it would be removed within 24-48 hours and she was very courteous.  It will be nice to not receive their calls anymore!  Thanks, Freddy!

received a call from 330-492-2913 this evening from EBSCO Teleservices. When I answered there was no one there. I have filed a complaint with donotcall.gov.

received 22 calls in 2 days. Could hear people but noone would answer when we did. Called Ebsco and was told they wuld remove our # from database. May take up to 24 hours but it would be removrd. Very kind and helpful.

Been getting calls and googled to find out who they are. After reviewing the posts here it seems to be about mag subscriptions renewal.

I too have been on the do not call registry for a long time.  They could be getting around the rules by claiming to be associated with the mag that the subscription has lapsed.  The Do Not Call registry allows such calls if you are a past customer (like a magazine subscriber) or, if the call is political in nature or, is from a non profit organization, charity, etc.  

I will call the 800 number to let them know I want them to stop calling. Please do the same if you don’t want to take the call.

Yes, this is ebsco. Don't hate me but I used to work there :P ... anyways, to get them to stop calling all you have to do is answer the phone and say "Put me on your do not call list." This is the only way. If you yell/cuss at them they'll just put you on the call again later list, and then most likely laugh.

Called 800.456.5105 as posts suggest - they took me off right away - very friendly.  Didnt bother to tell me why they were calling.

just called them like what other people said here, some lady said it'll take 24 hours to take me off. we'll see what happens.

Called the number back and told them I wanted to be taken off the list and he was very nice and asked if we were no longer interest in Rod and Custom Magazine I said yes but not by phone and he said no problem it will take approx. 4 wks or so and I said Thank you and he said thank you. Hopefully they won't call back again.

Very annoying phone calls, around supper time or early evening.  I do not answer any one who's number or name I do not recognize.  I also do not donate to charity, or buy anything over the phone. If they have my phone number, they also have my address. Please send MAIL, by US mail, any info you want me to have. I found a number for them on their website and called.  I told them to please quit calling me, and to take my name and number out of their data base.

They call everyday at 8pm central time. No one there?
