Called me and refused to answer..........

received #3 calls from this 407-427-0929 tonight with no one speaking--disconnects after 3 "Hello's".
We have caller ID and will not answer this # anymore,also on the do-not call list.

Just received a call from this number at 6:54 PM EST. Said hello multiple times with no response. I hung up.

I just called the FTC at 877-382-4357, as I am also on the do not call list.

Out of area and no one on line.

I received multiple calls from 401-427-0929. I can block any incoming number or area code, this number cannot be blocked because it is spoofed. "spoofed" means that the company that this call originates from is entering a bogus number that shows up on your caller ID. 401-427-0929 is NOT the real number that they're calling from, that's why when you call it you get a voice mailbox. They probably purchased a cheap or free voice mail number and are using that number for the caller ID. Pretty sneaky, huh? They have effectively cloaked their real number! This just means that they're up to no good! just hang up when they call, don't even say hello.

the FTC will do NOTHING. Don't waste your time.

This number 401-427-0929 is from GE Security Co.  Their real number is 1-888-GE SECURITY (437-3287). I heard the guy say GE Security and Googled them and here's the info I was able to get.  I did call to complain and they apologized.  They did not take my number so that they could remove it from their calling list so I will probably get another call but you should call to complain.  It is the only way for companies to know that they have hired unprofessional temp service to help them grow their business.

I've been getting a lot of calls from this number and every time I pick up, they wait a few seconds before hanging up as well. Its irritating and I'm becoming sick of it.  I've gotten like 15 calls from them in the last couple of weeks and its ridiculous.

I blocked my # & called it.  Operator states the # is not in service but it was on my caller ID at 11:15 am this morning with no message.

Got a call from this number offering an expensive alarm system for trial.  Caller had heavy accent.  Don't give this people any information.

I just received one too. Why? Are they collecting numbers?

I've found that a good,long blast from a signal horn(like they use at sporting events) works wonders. I keep one by the phone at all times.

Someone needs to look into to this. This is wrong, wrong, wrong.
Do not answer this call.

Called my cell while i was at work. Strong Indian accent .... couldn't understand so I hung up. I  am also on the DNC list.

1-15-09 I just go a phone call from this number and I never answered and My mother inlaw got the same call a few sec. after i did.

same as above, just recieved a call from this number on my cell phone.  Try a callback on the landline, and its no longer in service....
