- Jeanette HartI had a couple of checks that wouldn't go through, and Walmart gave me a receipt with theor number on it and they said I had an account that negative marks on it. They got my routing number and then said it was from some bank i have no idea who the bank is but it wasn't mine, and they said they cleared it up. Then I get a call on a Saturday from them saying they need more information.

- SteveI’ve receive six calls and six messages over the last three days. They claim to be with South State Bank wanting to verify transactions. DO NOT return the call or give them your information. Is there anyway to report them to someone?
- Caller: Fake.
- Ashley HGot calls twice from this number and they left messages saying they needed to confirm transactions on my account, contacted my bank. Visa does use a call center like this that makes these calls, however my account had no calls out on it, meaning that they did not need to confirm any transactions, so this was a scam caller.

- Janice| 1 replyVoice mail left by a woman with a very heavy accent claiming to be from my bank. I had to listen several times ti undestand what she was saying. I actually work for the bank she referred to, ironically in the department that reviews fraud and questionable activity, so I know this was a scam. What bothered me was that I had just made several online purchases today using my card, one to a site through Amazon. Hopefully this is just a coincidence, but I will be monitoring my account closely since 7 years ago someone tried to book round trip airline tickets on my card. My advice, never just brush it off.

- -This number has called me 8 times in 24 hours. The same woman with a very thick accent keeps asking for me by name. She claims to be calling on behalf of my bank. The thing is that my family owns the bank that she’s calling about. My dad told me that it was all a scam and to not pick up. She even butchered my name to the extreme a few times.

- CallerCalled twice and left a 1800 number but I couldn’t understand half of it. They changed pronunciation of my name each time they called. Called my bank to check if it was their fraud department and they said no and to ignore the call, it was most likely a scam.

- B.K.Called asking for me by name, said they were contracted by my bank. Questioned me about multiple transactions made on my account. If it were a scam, I don't know how they would know the who's and amounts of the transactions. I'm still quite leery about it though. Will definitely have more questions for my bank.

- ZachWe received a call from this number on New Years Day (1/1/18), and they claimed they were "affiliated" w/ my credit union. I called my credit union this morning, and they confirmed that this is legit. This is the 3rd party Fraud dept they use in Omaha, NE. And sure enough we had 2 fraudulent purchases on 1/1/18. My wife feels really bad b/c she was really busting the caller's chops b/c we thought this was a scam.

- tjI can very confidently say this is not a legit phone call. I never use my cell phone number on any forms, websites, etc. I always give my home number. There are a few family members who have my cell but even that is limited. How can someone legitimately call a person on a number they were never given? Scam all the way!!!

- sandyThey have called my husband asking for me. Said they were with our bank and were calling about fraudulent charges. The account hasn't been even used in a while period..so I called the bank. The bank said our account was fine..no one had called from them nor do they outsource our information and see no charges pending on our acct. To not answer their questions and not give out information.

- MicaelaCaller stated he was with ________Compliance (didn't catch the name) and he "understood" that I ran the third party risk program for my company (not entirely off...it is part of my role). He also stated that his colleague "Ryan" held my company in high regard and suggested he reach out to see if we have any pending initiatives for which we may want to hire a provider (?). I am not sure I totally understand what he was suggesting,I just told him I have no authority to hire outside parties for our program but thank you for the call. He was polite and said thank you, have a nice day. A little weirded out that he had my desk number and wasn't that far off on what programs I support.

- Joyce replies to JaniceMost likely scam, phishing for personal info. I was left 2 messages by a male and one female this morning (Sat) - all foreign accents. Wanted to talk to me about questionable activities on my Visa and they stated the name of my bank. But my bank is locally owned and doubt they would outsource to a foreign country. Told me to call a 1-800 number but caller ID displayed 402-609-5398. I ordered something from Amazon recently as well. I will probably request a new debit card from my bank for extra security measure.
- AnonymousSaid they were from our bank asking to verify transactions. SCAM!!
