So this company called me two times a day since I played a Google game...
After finally picking up they were asking me too many questions about my account, I never once told them "yes." I recommend you also do not say the word yes to them. They are scammers, and the person who is responding to everyone in here telling them that it's not a scam also works for the scamming company.
Anyways, after I hung up on the scammers I called my bank, provided them with the info and phone number, they confirmed that this is a scam. My bank told me that the only time they will call, they will use an 800 number and it will be automated, and that they do not have outsourcing to India. Do not pick up and if you can, block the number.

They called me shortly after I used my debit card online and I called my bank first who told me that this company is legit, they work with my bank and they called to warn me that the company I was trying to pay online ( what I used my card for ) is registered as a fraud so they tried to help me by letting me know and offering to cancel my transaction. My banker cancelled the transaction for me so I didn't have to call back this number.

I was concerned about answering this call.  They left a voicemail.  But the gal leaving the voicemail was very slow in what she was saying (almost as if she was reading a script) and yawning a lot through the message.  After checking here, I called my bank and was able to confirm that the number was legitimate.  They aided me in confirming the transactions that had been flagged as potentially fraudulent (but were in fact a batch of game in-app purchases).  Never had to deal with avoiding saying "yes" while a co-worker of mine did confirm that this "we need you to say 'Yes' to our questions" scam is going around.

Received a call from 402-609-5398 (Omaha, NE) concerning recent activity on a debit card.  They referenced my credit union, but the caller sounded sketchy and unprofessional.  They told me to call back at the 800-622-1361 number.  I called the CU first, and they said that it is in fact, the Fraud Department, so apparently this is an OK number.

They call on behalf of MANY banks. They will review transactions with you to make sure they are legitimate transactions. There doesn't have to be any fraudulent transactions for them to call. I've had them call for everyday normal transactions. Almost ALL banks have a third party company that will call to verify transactions. If your teller and/or Personal Banker tells you otherwise, they are obviously unaware of their procedures. They will never ask you for account numbers, debit card numbers, or any personal information. They will only verify the transactions with you. This is not a scam!

    Also,
The number that they call from is not the number you would call back. You would call the 1-800 number mentioned in the message left.

The caller said they were from Centris Federal Credit Union and they wanted to speak with my son.  My son works nights.  The called at 8:10 a.m. Pretty leery of the time.  I said he was sleeping.  He said we have found fraud activity on his account and would call back later.  I looked on both his accounts and did a reverse look up on the phone number.  I see a lot of people saying this is legit.  I don't think so.  Centris usually calls with automated calls to verify transactions.  Just be beware.

A woman called from this number and left a message saying she was from  Speed Pass fraud protection and to call back.  Doubt this is legit.

Brian from this # called my elderly moms house.  He gave a callback # of 800-327-8622.  I called her local bank, who verified that it is indeed their debit card verification company. But, the lady at our local bank was able to make the verifications with me since I have power of attorney on file with the bank for my folks.  We will always call our local bank instead of the verification company.

This is a company banks use to check disputed charges on your credit/debit card. I had 2 charges put on my card in New York, I live in Tennessee. Within the hour this number called me to verify the charges were mine or not mine. Trusted number.

He contacted me about a fraudulent charge reversal needing more exact information.  I EMailed him and it did not go through, I do not know if I missed spelled his last name or if this was also a fraudulent call.  He needs to contact me IMMEDIATELY to correct this.

I got a call saying they were with Herring Bank and wanted to talk about some unauthorized transactions on my Mastercard.  I looked online at the account and everything was fine.  The number they give to call back doesn't even work.

Sebastian left v/m about being from the transaction review dept for Forum Credit Union in regards to recent activity on a mastercard. Research shows this is a spam call. They leave the number 800-622-1361 to contact them back, which I won’t be doing.
